I heard about 916Aquatics on YouTube! And saw they had a verity of Flowerhorns. After doing a little research I decided to buy some Flowerhorn fry and a Flowerhorn. I’m a nervous person when it comes to shipping fish and I shot over a few questions. I didn’t get any answers. I get it they might of felt like I was doubting them. I just had never ordered from them and I didn’t know about them till the YouTube show. And just wanted some info on shipping since it’s was going to be -5 where I live. And the end of the day I received my package and they did a fantastic job with the packaging the fish arrived lively and I couldn’t be happier. I would recommend 916Aquatics hands down. This place unfortunately had lots of sick and dying/dead fish in tanks in very poor condition. There were a ton of flower horns for sure and maybe they're good if that's they're specialty and what you're looking for. There was a very limited selection of other tropical fish. I was shocked how little they had for how many tanks there were. All of the tanks that did have fish looked very unwell. Several had ick, murky water, dead fish, lots of fin clamp, and lethargic looking fish. Im surprised any of them were for sale in those conditions. I do not recommend getting fish from this store.

We ordered a King Kamfa flowerhorn about 10 months ago, we specifically asked that he NOT be a short body, he is exactly that. Sadly that means that normally they have a shorter life span and they are not the most “comfortable” We love him very much and will definitely go out of our way to keep him healthy and alive for as long as possible. That’s the only gripe that we have with them otherwise very good communication, we had step by step notifications on his overnight whereabouts, and he came in decent condition, a little cold and obviously in shock, a little extra TLC and he was on his way. This is our baby boy Juan.

I've never bought fish there without half of them dying within a week or two . They have no guarantee or return policy so this store is dead to me. At least at Petco I have a 30 day guarantee. I've owned tanks for decades.
