Dr. Maloney has been a great help with my 3 rabbits. Shot recommendation and neutering of my male rabbit has all gone well. A shout out to Donnie the receptionist, as she after calling 3 other veterinarian offices, was the reason I went to Winona Veterinary Hospital. Her knowledge about rabbits and what I needed as a new rabbit owner was amazing!! I was not a number and she took time with me. Cannot say that about the other 3 and one was my current veterinarian for my dogs. Highly recommend! Today on a Sunday, I sent a picture and comment about my youngest bunny and some issues by text. Nothing life threatening. Figured I would get a response on Monday. I have NEVER had a veterinarian respond on Sunday and on top of it Mothers day. Dr. Maloney sent a response regarding a product I could purchase from a pet store. This might be a one off and she just happened to be in the office, however, she did not have to respond and she did. Absolutely amazing show of care of an animal and beloved pet. Great customer service. Getting my dog Hank set up to become a new patient of Dr. Maloney!

Based on the positive feedback from recent customers, the environment at Winona Veterinary Hospital appears to be one characterized by compassion, knowledge, and excellent customer service. One reviewer specifically mentioned the helpfulness of Donnie, the receptionist, who demonstrated impressive knowledge about rabbits, making a new rabbit owner feel supported and valued, unlike other veterinary offices contacted. This suggests a welcoming and informative initial point of contact. Another review highlighted the compassionate support received from the staff, particularly Dr. Maloney and Laceylyn, during a difficult time, indicating an environment where empathy and understanding are prioritized. While specific details about the physical layout (waiting areas, examination rooms, etc.) are not provided, the emphasis on caring staff suggests a client-focused and supportive atmosphere.

The services offered at Winona Veterinary Hospital seem comprehensive, catering to a variety of pets. One customer explicitly mentioned Dr. Maloney's assistance with their three rabbits, including shot recommendations and the successful neutering of a male rabbit. This indicates experience with small mammals, which is noteworthy as not all veterinary clinics specialize in such care. Another instance involved Dr. Maloney responding to a non-life-threatening concern about a bunny via text on a Sunday (Mother's Day), even suggesting a product available at a pet store. This proactive and caring response suggests a commitment beyond regular business hours. Furthermore, a customer who initially had their dogs at another clinic was so impressed by the rabbit care and the overall service that they planned to transfer their dog's care to Winona Veterinary Hospital. From these accounts, we can infer that the services likely include routine check-ups, vaccinations, neutering/spaying, and potentially the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses across various animal types, including dogs, rabbits, and presumably cats and other common pets. The willingness to offer advice even outside of regular hours points to a dedicated approach to animal welfare.

Several features of Winona Veterinary Hospital stand out based on the customer reviews. The exceptional customer service, particularly highlighted by the receptionist Donnie's knowledge and the proactive communication from Dr. Maloney, is a significant feature. The apparent expertise in handling rabbits is another notable aspect, suggesting a broader range of animal care than just typical dog and cat services. The compassion and empathy shown by the staff during difficult times also underscore a patient-centered approach. The willingness of Dr. Maloney to respond on a Sunday with helpful advice demonstrates a high level of dedication and care for their clients and their pets. These features collectively paint a picture of a veterinary hospital that is not only competent in medical care but also deeply committed to client communication and animal well-being.

What was one of the worst days of our lives was made much easier due to the compassion from the staff here at Winona Veterinary. I would like to specifically thank Dr. Maloney and Laceylyn. We are so grateful for their incredible amount of patience, empathy, and true compassion for our difficult situation. I could not imagine going through a similar experience without the genuine kindness we were fortunate enough to receive.

Such a good experience, Dr. Moore was so very nice and really good with our dog on his first visit. We have moved back to the area, and this was his first visit at the vet since we moved back. Everyone was so nice.

Dr. Maloney and the team at Winona Veterinary Hospital saved my dog's life when he was suffering parvovirus. Their team is incredible. They are quick to respond to phone calls with any questions or concerns I may have. They continue to take great care of my dog. I would recommend them to anyone!

Sophie was favoring a front leg. I could see a nail was in pretty bad shape. WVH had me drop her off at 8 am and Dr. Denison would see her when there was time. I was called at 9:38 am and was told two nails had to be removed. Sophie is doing great. Same day service including surgery? I couldn't make any further suggestions about how to improve service. Well Done!!
