West Lake has been our Vet for years. We have cats and dogs and they've given our pets exceptional care. I always recommend them to my friends. Most recently our puppy got spayed. She has healed very quickly. Aftercare instructions were given verbally and I'm writing. Prices are lower than other Vets. All of the workers are kind and helpful.

We've been taking our dogs here for years and recently introduced them to our new puppy, Josie. They have been so great from puppy care, senior care all the way to when we needed to put down our sweet Crawl and Sophie. They are compassionate, caring, helpful, and there for you and your pet every step of the way. Our favorite tech is Kasi! She's just the best! Update: our Josie is now a year old. They have been so great with her first year care. Answering all questions, being there when we needed to bring her in and offering support when needed.

The staff and doctors are always so kind and helpful. I feel very at ease whenever I need to bring any of my dogs to them because I know they will be cared for. Abbie the technician was so sweet to my senior dog. The front desk is always so wonderful and helpful. The doctors are very knowledgeable and listen to all my concerns. I appreciate the mindfulness this clinic offers.

I love the kindness of the staff, vet techs and veterinarians. Quality and affordable care for my best 4-legged friend. Pups on her way to a full recovery from an ACL tear.

The care and concern shown to me when I called was unmatched. After calling about 5 vet offices, I knew this was the one I was choosing simply because they seemed to care so much for the situation I was in with my dog. I appreciate that they work to keep their prices low, and were able to get me in for surgery for my dog in a very timely manner.

We have been trying to find a good vet for a while and West Lake was recommended by a friend and because of how happy we were with the care I had to take her to Barnes and Noble as a thank you. Just the way they so clearly explain things and make us feel so involved in their care was so nice. I am quite frequently asked which vet to go to since I have 8 animals and I know have an answer!

A month ago, I visited your clinic because my elderly dog was having seizures. I was incredibly grateful that your team was able to accommodate me with an early appointment, which provided much-needed relief during a very stressful time. The care and professionalism exhibited by both the assistant and the doctor during that visit made me feel calm and confident about my dog's well-being. However, I returned today for follow-up tests, and unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. The assistant who came to take my dog for his sample arrived without even a greeting or inquiry about his condition. She immediately started asking if we were there to check levels and roughly pulled on his leash. My dog became anxious and stiff, clearly not wanting to go with her. When I handed him over, he reacted defensively trying to bite her, and she seemed taken aback, exclaiming "OMG OMG" in a way that felt unprofessional. What followed was quite distressing. Instead of addressing the situation calmly, she appeared frustrated and left to get a muzzle. Given her demeanor, I expressed my concerns about handing my dog over, fearing she might handle him roughly. Unfortunately, this led to her becoming rude and shouting at me. I felt cornered when she insisted that if I didn't agree with her approach, I should leave. I stood my ground for my dog's health, which was my priority, despite her continued hostility. Despite seeing how everything went I requested to see any injuries, as my dog is old and has no teeth, making the situation seem even more exaggerated. I understand that she may have felt startled, but her lack of professionalism was evident from the beginning. When the I think is the “manager”intervened, she presented us with only two options: proceed with the tests or leave, which left me feeling even more disheartened. I felt compelled to proceed with the necessary tests for my dog's health, but this experience has shaken my trust in your clinic. My dog has been with me for 11 years, and I have never encountered such an unpleasant situation in any veterinary clinic. He is a Toy Poodle, weighing less than 15 lbs. The distress I experienced this morning was overwhelming, especially as I had to head to college afterward, unable to shake off the events that transpired. Fortunately, my mother was present and recorded the encounter. It was disheartening to see the assistant confront me in a condescending manner, pointing her finger and dismissing my concerns while I was just sitting down. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that my feedback can help improve the situation for future clients and their pets
