Apr 22, 2025 · Megan AdamsWords can’t describe enough how grateful we are for this team! Our Border Collie sweet Kody herniated a disc over the weekend. He was in so much pain we rushed him into weddington animal hospital thinking it could have been a broken leg. The group examined him carefully and diagnosed Kody with IVDD, something that truly just never comes to mind as a pet owner. Kody stayed for several days while they treated him and watched carefully. At the time we were so worried we were going to have to face the inevitable. His care takers and vet techs were so educated and handled my panic with ease. They had the faith and determination to get Kody back to where he needed to. I’m grateful for Dr.Raymond, Dr Wright, Rebecca, Shannon and the entire staff for making me feel like Kody was family during his stay. I came in with tears and left with a huge smile. Kody came in almost paralyzed and left almost running. It’s a long road of recovery with IVDD but I guarantee Kody would not be at the stage of recovery he would be without this entire staff. We appreciate you!
Apr 05, 2025 · Melody GingerichI took my 1.5 year old aussie doodle to get spayed yesterday. she and I were both very nervous !! i’ve never had a female dog before so the surgery made me have some anxiety but weddington animal hospital was amazing !! they did everything in their power to reassure me and let me call and check up on her whenever i wanted. they recognized how scared my dog sage was and gave her so much love trying to make her feel more comfortable. she is recovering well this morning and seems to be back to herself already. the incision looks phenomenal. very clean and stitched up nicely. looks like they did a wonderful job of keeping everything sterile as well. Dr Wright did the surgery and will recommend her to anyone !! Also a huge shoutout to Macy Harper for answering all of my million questions!! Although, every person I interacted there with was so amazing.
Feb 05, 2025 · Hadley WeaverHonestly can't thank Wedington Animal Hospital enough! Our boy got hit by a car today and we went to one vet and they turned us down because they were "too busy" so I called WAH and they have went above and beyond! Asked what our ETA was and I told them so they Met us at the door to get our boy in for imaging as quick as possible!! Couldn't be more happy with their care!
Apr 04, 2025 · Bethany MarshallWe wouldn’t dream of taking our two dogs & cat to anyone else. Our babies love the team at Wedington and they are loved as well. They treat our pets with such love and pampering. When sick, the team is knowledgeable and takes the best care of our pets. Our blue heeler, who has not been away from me for 2 years, was boarded for 4 days and LOVED it. I wouldn’t trust our animals anywhere else.
