Webb Bridge Animal Hospital

We didn’t want to go to a chain vet for our cat and dog. We are very happy to find Webb Bridge Animal Hospital. If you are in the Windward area, this is highly recommended. The doctors are very caring and professional. The staff is also very friendly. The location is very nice and ample parking. You can buy Royal Canin brand pet food there plus other toys for animals.

I really don’t want to write this review, but I feel like I have to. I used to live next to Webb Bridge Animal Hospital so naturally I would take my dog there out of convenience. They were fine, nothing amazing, just a regular vet. I took my dog there on and off for over a decade. He’s had at least 3 surgeries there and other treatments over the years. I moved out of Alpharetta years ago so I no longer go there. I have a 16 year old GSP who can’t walk anymore and has no control over his bladder and bowels. It has been a tough year and I’ve made the decision to put him down next week. Since it’s his last week I’m bringing him over to my parents house in Alpharetta, so we can all be together one last time. Today, he ran out of bladder control medicine (Proin) and without it he just relieves himself in his bed while he’s laying there. So I called Webb Bridge Animal Hospital to get a refill of the medicine… I explained everything to them and that I just need enough tablets for him to just get through the week. They said they couldn’t do it and that I need to go to the vet who wrote the prescription. I was dumbfounded and kind of in disbelief, so I went up there in person because I thought maybe the girl who answered the phone didn’t quite understand my situation. Again, I explained that my dog is literally dying and just needs to be comfortable his final week. The girl at the counter again denied my request and said “we’re not a pharmacy”. Obviously I didn’t walk into CVS. So now I have to drive an hour away to get a refill tomorrow and my dog is going to have a very bad night. Zero compassion and zero thought from this poor excuse for a human being. I would have been better off talking to an AI powered robot. I have literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars in there and they couldn’t fill a 14 tablet prescription for bladder control for my dying dog. I’m still beside myself.

Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Bondurant run a great team of professionals! We have been patients for 4 years. I love that everything we need is available and the service has been topnotch from day 1. My rescue kitten, was a bit troubled and had a tough start with tummy sensitivity and low pain tolerance. She was in a shelter and simply had tough beginnings. With the right food and TLC from staff and her adopted family. Ms. Kitty is an amazing cat today. We only go for necessary check ups now. But, doctors were excellent when Kitty had issues with a few illnesses in the early months. Always greeted with kindness..we appreciate our annual reminders and know we are receiving the best care.

Staff and Dr. Kennedy amazing! So glad we have found a provider we can trust with our precious fur baby.

We have been with Dr. B and Dr. Kennedy since we moved here in 2003! They have the perfect combination of medical expertise and kindness. We would not consider taking our furry family members anywhere else. Plus their staff is very knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend!
