Village Animal Hospital of Jericho

I’ve seen some negative reviews about this place and from what I know they all seem to come from bitter people. The staff here is great, saved both of my dogs lives in the span of a few months happening. The main doctors there (balsamo and handlin) along with all of the tech staff are wonderful people who truly care for the health of your pets and their well being. From working there I can say that behind the scenes they do their very best to make every pet who enters the building as comfortable as they can, from the veterinary side, to the grooming, and including the boarding. Would not give this place one bad review!! Any negatives that are said about this place has already been ridden from the hospital, or so I believe

Horrible experience. Was going to them since 2017. My fourth cat there and we knew he was dying. We just wanted Dr. Denise to make him feel more comfortable, she insisted to put him down. She accused us of neglect because my cat was 2.5 lbs. He had hyperthyroid and she was aware of his condition. She threatened us to call the cops and didn't want to release him. She agitated my cat even more that when we got him back he was hyperventilating and died a few minutes after. She is a horrendous person and Horrible doctor. She definitely needs to quit. Doctors that are not empathetic should NOT be dealing with animals. I would never forgive her for accelerating the death of my poor cat. I wish her the worst.

Wonderful vet practice! All the doctors and staff are very nice and caring. Pongo is comfortable when he comes for his annual shots and exams and I want to thank the team for taking good care of him!

Wonderful vet practice. Our girl has been seeing Dr. Denise for 13 years. The staff is always so warm, helpful and friendly, always putting our shih tzu at ease. Won’t go anywhere else!

Best experience I’ve had. Totally compassionate, empathetic and nonjudgmental staff as a whole. They truly listen and ask all the right questions. I’m amazed how the support continues long after the appointment with follow up calls by such caring and professional staff. I’ll never go anywhere else.
