We brought our golden in for treatment after she swallowed a tank top. The tank top unfortunately needed surgical extraction. Everyone we encountered was understanding, friendly, and informative. We appreciated being able to stay with our golden and monitor her firsthand during and post surgery. She was up and going in no time after her surgery. The sutures were beautifully done resulting in minimal scarring of her belly just two weeks post op. She has been carrying around the bone sent home with her — she loves it. Thank you for helping our baby!!

This is the best emergency vet I've ever been to. They are fast, thorough, and truly brilliant at what they do. Their entire staff was extremely kind. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other emergency vets, and the work they do to save animals is nothing short of heroic. If you have time to choose where to bring your pet during an emergency, bring them here.

Knowing the end for my sweet dog Harley was near, I called VEG at 3am in tears. They were so kind as I drove my boy in, and were awaiting care immediately upon my arrival. The vet and techs were incredibly supportive and empathetic, ensuring he felt no pain in his final moments and allowed me to hold him. They guided me with kindness and respect, allowing me to say goodbye in a peaceful environment. While I was settling the services in the front, I looked in the very back room. They didn’t know I could see the team: the whole staff was quiet and respectful; they covered my sweet boy with a sheet and looked so remorseful. It was the purest form of human compassion I’d ever seen. They treated my Harley with such dignity, like he was a fallen solider. They didn’t know I could see, but their actions made me feel soothed through the grief. I will never forget them and their kindness. While my heart is heavy, I will forever remember the veterinarian’s kindness and compassion on one of my worst days. I never felt rushed or bothersome. This practice deserves infinite 5-star reviews! I took my dog Belle in for what I thought was going to be a simple stomach bug with some antibiotics and their staff was able to identify a potentially life threatening acute disease. Their diligence and care literally saved her life. They all made me feel comfortable throughout the diagnostic process and I was able to hold Belle the whole time. They ended up needing to keep her over night for treatment and monitoring, and though it made me anxious, I was absolutely confident that she would be receiving the best possible care. We’ve been to this facility a few times for various things and without fail they always impress me with their compassion and perceptiveness. All of the staff treated Belle as if she was their own, even going out of their way to make sure she was loved on and comfortable. Belle and me both appreciate you all more than you know!!
