Refused to give my cat a booster because we were was 20 minutes late for the appointment, even though we called ahead of time. Rescheduled the booster for next week and they canceled for no reason. Rescheduled again, and when we got there, they said the booster was expired and we had to start the process over. They don’t care about waisting my time, and more importantly, Butterscotch’s time.

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic
Welcome to the local introduction of Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located at 31419 Pacific Hwy S, Federal Way, WA 98003, USA. Operating under the platform category of a Pet Hospital, specifically as a vaccination clinic, Vetco aims to provide certain pet health services, primarily focusing on vaccinations. The customer reviews available offer mixed perspectives on their services, particularly concerning scheduling, adherence to appointment times, and knowledge of local regulations.
Information regarding the specific environment of Vetco Vaccination Clinic is partially provided in one of the reviews. It mentions that the clinic was "crowded," but noted that "all of the dogs were well behaved and the techs were very kind." This suggests a busy setting, likely geared towards efficient service delivery, with a positive interaction with the veterinary technicians. However, there is no detailed description of the overall ambiance, the layout of examination areas, or other facilities. The focus of the feedback seems to be more on the operational aspects rather than the physical environment itself.
Based on the customer reviews, the primary service offered by Vetco Vaccination Clinic is vaccinations. One customer specifically sought a booster shot for their cat and later a rabies vaccination for their puppy. This indicates that they provide a range of common pet vaccinations. However, the experiences shared also highlight potential issues with the administration of these services. One customer's cat was refused a booster for being 20 minutes late, and subsequent rescheduling attempts were met with cancellations and the claim of an expired booster requiring a restart of the process. Another customer sought a rabies vaccination for their puppy, which was refused based on a perceived state law about the minimum age, which the customer disputed based on county regulations and historical practices. This suggests that while vaccinations are a core service, the execution can be inconsistent and potentially based on inaccurate information.
Several features of Vetco Vaccination Clinic can be identified from the customer feedback, both positive and negative. On the positive side, one reviewer noted that the "techs were very kind," indicating a friendly demeanor among the support staff. Also, despite being crowded, the dogs present were reported as well-behaved. On the negative side, a significant feature appears to be issues with scheduling and adherence to appointment times, as one customer waited 40 minutes past their scheduled time. Furthermore, the refusal to administer a vaccination based on a potentially incorrect understanding of local regulations raises concerns about the clinic's knowledge and policies. The experience of the first customer with the cat's booster also points to a rigid policy regarding tardiness, even with prior notification, and a lack of flexibility in rescheduling, ultimately leading to frustration and wasted time.
The conflicting information provided regarding the rabies vaccination age is a notable point. The veterinarian's reliance on a perceived state law that the customer could not verify, versus the customer's understanding of county regulations and past experiences, suggests a potential lack of clarity or accuracy in the clinic's knowledge of local requirements. This discrepancy led the customer to seek and successfully obtain the vaccination elsewhere.
Promotional information is not included in the provided reviews. There are no mentions of any special offers, discounts on vaccinations, or other promotional activities. To learn if Vetco Vaccination Clinic is currently running any promotions, you would need to contact them directly.
In summary, Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Federal Way, WA, primarily focuses on providing vaccinations for pets. Customer experiences indicate that while the veterinary technicians are perceived as kind, there can be issues with scheduling, punctuality, and potentially the accuracy of information regarding vaccination regulations. One customer faced multiple cancellations and was ultimately told they needed to restart a vaccination process due to an alleged expiration, while another was refused a rabies vaccination for their puppy based on a state law that the customer believed to be incorrect. While the clinic might be a convenient option for vaccinations, potential clients should be aware of these reported issues with scheduling and policy adherence. For more detailed information about their services, the clinic environment, and any potential promotions, please contact them directly.

Sep 06, 2024 · Solomon DavisCrowded, but all of the dogs were well behaved and the techs were very kind. The problem is that we seen 40 minutes after our appointment time only for the veterinarian to refuse to vaccinate our puppy for rabies at 15 1/2 weeks old, stating that WA state requires rabies to be done no earlier than 16 weeks old and that we would need to reschedule. The law in King county (where I reside, the same county that this clinic was held in) requires rabies to be given before a puppy turns 4 months old. I could not find any state legislature stating that there is a minimum age for rabies vaccination, and historically I have had my puppies vaccinated for rabies as early as 12 weeks. That evening, we took our puppy to a different vaccine clinic where he received his rabies vaccination and tag with no issue. I would have accepted if it were Vetco policy, or even the veterinarian’s professional opinion that we should wait, but I did not appreciate being lied to.
Nov 25, 2024 · ValentineOvercrowded. The check-in person skipped our names and cancelled my appt even though we arrived early. Other customers also confirmed that the clerk did not call our names. Vaccination package was not explained clearly. Overall experience was terrible. The visit feels like a fast food chain. I would not come back or recommend to anyone.

Sep 18, 2024 · Angeline Stacy RifeHorrible experience. I have 4 foster kittens with appts for shots. I accidentally went to petsmart down the street and was 10 minutes late. After waiting 5 minutes for someone to help me, they said since I was 10 minutes late they will not vaccinate my kittens. No customer service, nobody else there for an appointment. I drove my kittens home 45 minutes in 90 degree heat. Asked to speak to a manager. Manager said sorry, nothing I can do. No care for customers or their pets.
