Vetco Vaccination Clinic

We chose petco due to great package deals on puppy vaccines. Had no issues until today. They said my puppy was aggressive and tried to bite because he thinks he is the “boss” told me they recommend puppy classes or else if he bites he will no longer be seen there again. My puppy is not aggressive and does not bite. He went to a groomer where she was shocked he didn’t try to bite her once as she was used to puppies biting at their first groom. My puppies reaction was perfectly normal as it was a defence mechanism usually a sign of fear, not dominance. The advice for puppy training is great advice but was rudely executed. Really depends, I’m not sure on the alternative. I had problems with them in the past, but still I keep going. They will not transfer prescriptions. You can only buy medication’s from them only. Which I’m not sure if that’s actually legal. 🤷‍♂️ 🤔 💭

I took my dog here a few weeks ago to get his first set of shots. There was a lady I had to check in with for the appointment. I have never been off on the wrong foot with someone so fast. From the moment I came in, all I got was attitude from her. When I tried to help with my pup she then bit my head off. I understand that weekend days are stressful. But I was nothing but understanding and just being helpful. I will not be returning to this location unfortunately.

I had an appointment for vaccinations and when I showed up unfortunately one of the staff had been bitten so they closed the clinic. They asked if I hadn't received the text cancellation. I didn't; I had only received an appointment reminder that morning. I had to go to another location the next day. I was told I would get 10% off and when I tried to apply it I was told that I had to call the corporate office afterwards. I didn't know where to start so I had to pay full price despite the inconvenience, and haven't been reimbursed. The service has been good since then, but I can't give them a higher rating with the unresolved issue.

My daughter brought her cats in yesterday for a flea problem and was treated horribly. Completely unacceptable service for someone who cares deeply about her pets and animals in general.
