I brought my cat Misti here today after her first bout of urinary issues, and they were so so helpful! I was able to get all of the testing that I wanted done to rule out everything but the culprit, and they’ve been in great communication with me about Misti and always are there to answer questions over the phone super kindly and respectfully. I love this vet- they cured my fear of emergency animal hospitals, I’ve had very sad experiences at them before and this is a place where you can tell they truly care. If you’re looking for somewhere to take your cat who means the world to you- this is a great place! They have so much testing on site and are very very transparent about price, they’ll print you an invoice of proposed services and go through it with you to work with your budget and preferences. I’m just incredibly grateful that I found this great VCA location close by. I’ll definitely be back if Misti’s issues recur, and if not I’ll sleep better at night knowing they are ten minutes away:) THANK YOU GUYS!!!🥹🥹🥹🩷🩷🩷

Feb 09, 2025 · chloe defranceI was devastated when my baby cat girl Mochi was sick and everywhere was closed on this Easter weekend, but VCA was open. The staffs here in VCA TLC Pasadena were so professional and compassionate. They explained the process, plans, treatments and costs up front. Dr. Wong was so meticulous, knowledgable and brilliant. He saved my baby's life. Thank you all. I am an internist and I highly recommend this place and Dr. Wong without reservations.
Apr 20, 2025 · LeslieOur kitten had a case of acute vomitting - we were going to wait until morning to schedule an appointment with a vet, but he kept waking up in the night to vomit. Around 2am we decided to take him to the emergency clinic. We called to explain what was happening and they confirmed it was indeed and emergency and that we should come in. In terms of treatment, the doctors are very knowledgeable and kind. They explain things thoroughly and check in with you before each phase of treatment so you can decide whether or not you want to continue the recommended treatment based on the cost before they proceed. The cost is quite high, but on par with other emergency clinics. We have pet insurance so though it was pricey, we will be getting reimbursed for a good chunk of it. Our kitty is feeling much better and I will definitely come here again in an emergency 🙏 I wanted to leave this review because I feel their review is way too low. It should be higher!
Feb 27, 2025 · Desiree LenartI should have read the reviews before I went in. I've been raising and caring for fosters and neonatal kittens with medical needs for almost 20 years. I was in a tough spot and couldn't go to my usual emergency for a current foster. Most of the staff was great kind and understanding open to questions. The Veterinarian on the other hand was absolutely terrible. I have never met a Vet to uncaring and unclear to whats going on or unwilling to answer questions or truly understand what I was asking. They recommended hospitalization and I didn't have the funds for that specifically. So I asked to stabilize and let me know what I could do until i could see my vet when they opened in a few hours. I knew VCA's milk as much money out of people as possible but usually the vets care a bit more. This was atrocious. Also after reading how many reviews felt this same way I now know to NEVER come back. Also reviewing the care sheets when i got home it said discussed humane euthanasia, We did not discuss this and I didn't realize their condition was bad enough to be an option!!
May 12, 2025 · Antoinette VidalThey are honest, compassionate, and reasonable. I’m not sure what all these people are talking about concerning being extorted for money for their pets health and safety. Dr. Barnes was so patient and thorough with explaining what was needed to be done and coming up with a solutions that was $2500 cheaper than the affordable vet clinic I was scheduled to have the procedure at. I had another emergency with another animal, and they truly worked with me for cost. (Thank you Dr. kim and Nicolette)🌟 That same animal is being worked on by the BEST, which is Dr. Davis💖 for surgery😷 I drive an hour to come to this place because they care about my pets. They’re well-versed with what they do and their prices are competitive for other clinics. FACTS! Things are just more expensive now and just because it’s cheaper doesn’t mean it’s better and just because it’s more expensive doesn’t mean it’s a higher quality. These people (front desk, Techs, Grounds Keepers AND Doctors) are truly here doing the best they can for the client and it’s not fair to attack them based on how you’re feeling instead of the actual facts.
