VCA South Arundel Animal Hospital

I can't say enough great things about VCA! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. They took the time to understand my dog's specific needs and concerns, and treated him with such care and compassion. The facility was clean and modern, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. My dog can be a bit anxious at the vet, but the team here made him feel right at ease. I'm so grateful to have found a vet clinic that truly puts the needs of their patients first. We will definitely be back! 5 paws up! 🐾💕

I brought my dog in a few weeks ago, and I entered through the front door. I wasn’t aware that animals that cough are supposed to go through the side door, as there is no signage on the building indicating that coughing animals have their own specific entrance. The front desk staff were nice, but the manager was in the front that day. When she noticed why my dog was there she took a really unfortunate attitude with me. She berated me and told me I was supposed to the side door and that I obviously should have known that because they told me when I scheduled the appointment (life is busy, people forget HENCE signage!). And once I was in my appointment, I heard the same lady talking rather rudely to her staff and about OTHER staff. I wanted to say something as I left, but she had shut her door. The doctors and vet techs were very nice. Love them. Hate the manager.

A culture of empathy and excellence that is noticeable across the entire staff! From the minute you book an appointment, through an exam or procedure, and to the thoughtful follow up call VCA South Arundel treats pets (and humans) with incredible compassion and professionalism. We moved to the area a couple years ago and our only concern was leaving our previous veterinarian behind- VCA South Arundel immediately put those doubts to rest and helped our 3 dogs and 2 cats transition to their new home and maintain excellent health! Their care club offer is well worth the money if you can afford it- unlimited wellness visits are included in what is essentially the price of an annual exam and vaccination regimen. It really has put our mind at ease on several occasions! They carry a National franchise brand but this is truly a family animal hospital! If you are new to the area or looking for a great vet, I simply cannot recommend this practice enough… I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!

Both my dogs are seen at VCA. I called to schedule an appointment for one of the dogs with an eye issue. The receptionist refused to look up any appointments for the coming week, she just said they could not help us and to call Urgent Care. I will be looking for a new vet

I called yesterday concerned about my kitten and the front staff was very nice. They were able to squeeze us in for a visit/check up. The doctor was extremely informative and took the time to explain what could be going on. At the end, I was given a welcome bag full of goodies for my little man. I was overall pleased with my first visit and the staff. I look forward to my future appointments and would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you for taking care of my little Quill. ❤

Not our regular vet, but when our pup became ill they quickly got her in for treatment. Unfortunately the outcome was not good, but the Dr. and the staff treated us professionally and with compassion. Even a one time visit they still reached out afterwards, speaks volumes of their caring nature.
