Always a good experience here. Even though I moved over 30 min away, I still take both my dogs here. Their puppy plan is great and definitely worth it when you have a new puppy.

Feb 12, 2025 · TeresaDr.Fatkin is a knowledgeable veterinarian. She took her time to examine my cat and inform me of the issue. Finally, a veterinarian practice that is thorough. John helped with checking me in and was very kind and patient. The vet assistant was kind and gentle with my cat. The cashier was so nice. It's really just a great practice with good people working there to care for your pets. I highly recommend VCA Sinking Spring Animal Hospital! Thank you!
Mar 25, 2024 · J CI agree with the disappointment of some other reviewers. I have utilized this vet for almost 20 years and through 5 dogs, mainly out of location and not wanting to be inconvenienced by switching. I should've done it sooner. Unfortunately in the last several months I have had very disappointing experiences to say the least. First of all, now that I have gotten smarter about shopping around because of this most recent experience, I have found that this vet has prices that are triple other vets or clinics. One can't respond with "well this is a vet and clinics are different and less personal " because this vet is not personal at all. I have had a couple experiences recently where I was quoted one price on the phone and then it tripled when in person. My worst experience though started several months ago. I paid for 2 visits for my senior dog with concerns of his symptoms. Both visits were quite dismissive and a waste of money. By the 3rd it finally dawned on them to take blood work and question Cushings (so now we wasted a few months with no Treatment). It was recommended to put him through specific tests to see if he had Cushings which cost about 600 just for that one test. He subsequently was diagnosed with it in a phone call after the appt. He was placed on a med. Soon after I was very concerned about additional symptoms and they said wait until 30 days. At 30 days they added gabapentin but done via app and phone, no follow up call. I went in for the prescription and refill of the original med and asked if a doctor could follow up with me because of his dramatic decline since the diagnosis and initiation of meds. Two months passed and not one phone call. Not one doc followup, tech, Front office, nothing. Took tons of my money and never cared to see if it was the right med or how he was doing. We put him down 2 weeks ago. When I called the office to see how much to do it there...over 500. No way. Took him to animal rescue league. The office still sent me reminders for upcoming things he was due for. I had to call and speak to the office manager to inform her of the poor service. I got an apology. They just care about your money. Find another vet. I now have 3 others that are recommended by rescue organizations for their loving care and way lower prices for everything. We would never get refills on meds especially after a new diagnosis as humans without a doc following up. It should be the same for pets as meaningful as they are.
Jan 03, 2025 · Ramona Palmerio-Roberts***Stop or think twice before making new appointments or followup appointments for your most precious pet. ***DR. Brandi Fatkin, DVM doesn't know how to treat even small problems like chronic skin ulcer. Does not know what antiantibiotics should be prescribed to treat chronic ulcers in pets. Does not know what is grannulation tissue and how the chronic ulcer looks. Does not know how to take the history of the problem. All the doctor knows retalliation and refusing treatment to the pets for asking why the dog was prescribed inappropriate antibiotics, inappropriate treatment and inappropriate charges. * After two cancellations my pet got appointment for treatment for non healing ulcer on the tip of the tail. The dog was taken inside and came out with a fee of $ 453.00 The Dog was there for the treatment for non healing ucer, but the doctor charged for well Exam, Chem11 lytes, cbc and Urine analsis and rx for in appropriate antibiotic with inappropriate dosage and duration for chronic ulcer. They did not do any venipuncture /phlebotomy and blood tests, but charged money $210.00 just for Chem 11, CBC and UA. * For human patients for doing the same tests the charges are less than $ 30.00, what a highway robbery? *My name is Giri Mannepuli Board Certified in Family Medicine and also owner of the pet Julie a german shepperd. As a pet owner I asked a question regarding my pet treatment. *The Dr. Fatkin who took care of my Pet was rude, hostile, arragant and disrespective. They Charged $ 450.00 just for giving an inappropriat antibiotic for a chronic non healing ulcer (that was already treated with two different Broad spectrum antibiotics previously), and gave a followup appontment in 2 weeks with Rx to sedate the pet before bringing to the office. *Poor pet was kept fasting 24 hours and sedated with pills as the Doctor ordered. When we took the sedated pet to the office, Dr. Fatkin refused to see the pet and also refused to treat without any profesional courtesy and professional ethics. *Dr. Fatkin abonded the care to the pet without notifying a head. *Dr. Fatkin was afraid of malpractce and refused to treat the pet at the last minute, because she knows that she doesn't have any minimal knowledge how to treat the chronic ulcer. *I clearly say my pet got neglected, mistreated, refused to treat and abonded to provide care of a sedated pet at the last minute at the entrance of their office. * I also noticed alteration of the medical visit summary after she had conversation with me regarding the mistreatment of the chronic non healing ulcer. * I have seen lot of Pet owners negative reviews regarding high charges. * I request and beg Dr. Fatkin not to do these kind of unethical and unprofessional behavior towards the pets and owners, because the pet owners love their pets more than their own kids. * You are feeding your family and yourself by providing services to the pets, so please be kind towards our loved pets in providing the proper treatments and charges. Also please respect the pet owners. Dr. Giri Mannepuli parent of Julie
Feb 04, 2025 · Reading Convenient CareI wish I could give this place 0 stars. We moved here from CO in mid February and needed a vet for our 15yr old cat with kidney disease. In CO she went weekly for fluids and we wanted to do the same here. Well the cost was insane. I understand a new vet needed to examine her as a new patient but they were trying to force me to do blood work even though she just had her annual in Colorado 2 months prior. I said I would only do the exam and fluids which I brought with me. The following week we went in for the fluids only appointment and was shocked by the cost. We paid $11 in CO for a tech visit plus cost of fluids/needles but VCA charged $59 just for the tech visit even though we had our own supplies. We decided to do the fluids at home after that and not pay their high tech cost. Now our cat needs to be put down since she’s not eating, vomiting, and no longer using the litter box. When I called them to schedule the appointment to put her down not only were they going to make us wait because they were fitting us in but said they had to do another exam because a different vet saw her last time. We are already upset our cat is dying and you’re going to make the process unnecessarily longer and more expensive when she was just seen 5 months prior at their facility. This place has no compassion and just looking to make money. I will never take any of my pets there again. Now I’m forced to pay more for a company to come to my home so our cat gets the compassion and dignity she deserves.
