VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital

I was able to bring in a husky that I found running in the street who was hit (lightly, no injury) by a car in front of me. They took such good care of here, scanned her for a chip, and was able to connect her with her owner. All the staff were incredibly kind. I don’t live in the area, but if I did, I would certainly trust them to care for my animals, just based on my interaction with the incredible kindness of the staff.

We had to bring our dog here for extreme vestibular issues on an emergency visit. We had let her go on to long and it was time to say goodbye. VCA was very empathetic and understanding about the entire process. They have a separate "comfort" room where you can spend final moments with your pet, filled with treats and Kleenex. Your dog gets all the treats and you get all the kleenex. I think they learned from other feedback. They asked us if we'd like to pay for services before they euthanized our dog. Do that. We were able to say goodbye and head out to the car in tears.

I'm so happy I put my trust in VCA Alameda East Veterinary clinic! Everyone that works there cares a lot and are quite compassionate. It's late in my life, but now I'm a first time cat owner and a hypochondriac one at that! No question or concern is too silly for them and they are always happy to set my mind at ease. I really like the "Care Clinic" Program, it's kinda like a Health Care insurance policy and it saves me a lot of money! My Girlfriend "rest her soul" Can rest easy knowing her kitties are in good hands!

Excellent vet service! Charlie is 5 months old and scratched constantly. I originally took him to Sploot. They were of no help. At VCA The vet tech and vet took the time to talk with me, ask questions, and were so thorough and good with my pup Charlie. We ended up going with a shot called Cytopoint. It works! He now sleeps through the night, isn't interrupted during play to scratch, and his energy and appetite are back. They saw me within 15minutes of calling them for an appointment. Stellar service. Highly recommend!

I am so pleased to have Dr. Miller and her staff of cat people on board for my cat. Penny is not easy to deal with professionally, but Dr. Miller and her team of trained and truly qualified people were able to work their magic with her. I highly recommend this practice to anyone. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again to Dr. Miller and her team!!
