We were referred by a friend to Dr. Easley. Our pup Darci tore her cruciate tendon and also had subluxation of the knees, both actually. We knew she needed surgery! Dr. Easley and the team at Townsend took such great care of our Darci Girl! After we brought her home, the staff called to check up on her all the time. Dr. Easley called to check in also! I cannot thank them enough for helping her!

We recently moved to Townsend and were in need of a vet. We have 1 GS H mix and we took in a mixed 7 month old puppy with unknown vax info. Upon my call they immediately started looking into the info to see what they could find on him. Unfortunately 0 came up. But they started us on a new schedule for his vax. Everyone is friendly and caring! They welcomed us into this beautiful community!

There just isn't a better or more caring veterinary practice than Townsend Veterinary Hospital. We've been usng Dr. BJ Meunier since 1997 at his first location (the Era of our Greyhound rescues!) and there is no one else I'd trust as much as this team for the health of any of our fur family members. We have six small dogs now, who all enjoy the dedicated care of Townsend Veterinary Hospital. Thank you, Townsend Vet, for being a partner in our journey to provide homes for as many dogs as possible, including our many fosters. Our lives have been enriched so much by our furkids...and your dedication to their good care.

Outstanding and communicative service. I brought my dog Tuba in for a dental and they were able to book him quickly and the dental was done very thoroughly. I was absolutely blown away the next morning when I realized my dog was now no longer in pain and ate his breakfast heartily which has not been the case in recent months. Highly recommend this vet and staff!! Caring, friendly, kind and understanding

We have been taking out pets to Townsend Veterinary for about 12 years now and have always received very good service and care from them. Last fall, our dog Sam developed lymphoma and we decided to have chemotherapy treatment for him. Dr. Meunier and the team were, simply put, amazing during the process. He researched therapies, discussed options with us and devoted a ton of time and energy to caring for Sam. He even came in on some of his off days and weekends to ensure the treatments were happening at the right times. And, when we were at the limits of what Dr. Meunier could do, he referred us to a cancer specialist that provided additional options. The entire staff treated us, and Sam, with kindness and love throughout what was a long and emotionally difficult time. I think the strongest testament to that was that Sam couldn’t wait to visit. Even though he was receiving injections, blood tests and chemo - which I am sure were no fun – he would run to the car when I said, “let’s go to the vet!” and he would whine and prance in the parking lot until he could go in and visit everyone. Once inside he’d visit and say hello to everyone and pull us into the exam room. To me it was just amazing. When we finally reached the end of the road and had to let him go earlier this month, the team treated us and same with love, respect and kindness and helped make a heartbreaking process more bearable. Thank you to Dr. Meunier, all of the technicians, the front office team – the ENTIRE TEAM at Townsend Veterinary for giving us 9 more months of quality time with Sam and for taking such good care of him.
