I brought my 12 year old chihuahua into Scottsdale Vet Clinic after she was having trouble breathing at home. Dr. Courtney Craig and the staff were absolutely amazing. They saw her immediately, were prompt in finding out the issue and treating her, explained my options and were extremely compassionate. She never pushed me into doing anything and was happy to answer my million questions very thoroughly and detailed. I am so thankful to have found this place! Thank you so much for taking such great care of her.

I would not recommend this vet if your pet has a serious Illness. We had brought a puppy here a year ago when she got parvo, she was at 4lbs . It is understood parvo is an up & down illness and is very aggressive illness. Most dogs under 5lbs rarely make it. The amount of money we paid from Sunday morning - Thursday morning & the service we got was NOT worth it. They had her in the back of the hospital in a shower type thing rather than a kennel space . They would call to update us and they would call her a HIM constantly. With this being done by multiple staff members, this made us have no confidence in the staff, felt like she wasn't being checked on, nor no one was looking at her charts/paperwork prior to calling . There was rarely any positive news. When we went to go visit her each day she looked like she was getting worse and worse. We were not allowed to hold her, or go in her shower space to pet her. Alot of the times we saw her she was sitting in her diarrhea due to the parvo. I understand she can not be changed every minute due to the constantly leaking due to the parvo however, her tail/butt were raw from sitting in this. Everytime we saw her she was sitting in this and no one came in to clean her up during the visits. There was a needle left in the packaging on the floor in her shower space. Decided to pull her Thursday morning- I asked the lady if she can clean her bottom up since I was going to put in the car and she changed her potty pad and never cleaned her up . Appreciate they help y'all did do, just wouldn't recommend for urgent needs. Going to the new hospital she made tremendous improvements. Everyime we went to go visit her she was RARELY sitting in her own diarrhea. The staff at the new vet was way more loving and compassionate towards our pet. 4 pictures are her at this vet. 2 pictures are at the new vet (sitting eating & CPR kennel picture ) & the last picture is her today .Thankful she survived the Parvo.

Technician Angel, Dr. Padila, and Dr. Hertz went above and beyond to correctly identify Luca’s Valley Fever and address any additional issues that arose. Their commitment to his well-being has been truly heartwarming. Dr. Hertz has been a pillar of support throughout this journey. Every time Luca has undergone tests, Dr. Hertz personally calls me, patiently explaining the results and making sure I understand every detail. This kind of personal attention and reassurance has been invaluable during such a stressful time. Angel and Dr. Padila have treated Luca with genuine compassion and care. They’ve taken the time to understand his unique needs as a rescue dog, working with him at his own pace and ensuring he feels safe and comfortable. Their empathy and kindness have made a world of difference. The care at Scottsdale Vet Clinic extends beyond Luca. When my dog Brady had a slight ACL tear that another vet suggested we just monitor, the team here quickly identified and treated the issue with an X-ray. Brady is now fully recovered, thanks to their diligent care. Similarly, Bandit’s “growing pains” were accurately diagnosed and treated by this wonderful team, providing him with much-needed relief. The front desk staff deserves special recognition for their kindness and understanding. They truly empathize with the emotional strain of a vet visit and handle every situation with patience and compassion. Even as a walk-in with Luca, I’ve witnessed their dedication to treating each pet and owner with utmost care and urgency. Scottsdale Vet Clinic is a place where you feel like part of a caring family. Their commitment to excellence, heartfelt care, and genuine concern for each patient’s well-being have made them a beacon of hope during challenging times. I am deeply appreciative of everything they have done for my beloved dogs and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional veterinary care.

Wonderful skilled professional staff!! Our little one had a full anesthesia Dental cleaning for a very reasonable fee. The staff here is so thorough, thoughtful, and professional we are so happy to recommend!!

The BEST veterinary clinic & staff anywhere! Everyone there CARES about our pets, and their emergency response team onsite is better than most human E.R. facilities! I can't thank them enough for the excellent care they have provided to our pets!
