I had a cat that was in need of dental surgery and in a lot pain but I couldn't afford to pay what it would cost to have it done! I want to thank Tammy from Animal Aid for telling me about this place! I called and spoke with Rachel and explained about the pain my cat was in and my financial situation also told her he was a rescue. She made the appointment for him to be seen. This place is cleaner than most doctors offices! Sandra took Fay Boy in the exam room after a while she came back and said he had a heart murmur and should see a cardiologist because there was a chance if they put him to sleep to pull his teeth he might not wake up. There was no way I could afford that. She said it was a 50/50 % chance he would make it, I told her I wanted the surgery cause otherwise he would have to be put to sleep 😭 I asked what the surgery was going to cost she said she would talk to the Office Manager and for me to bring him back in the morning. This morning Rachel put me in an exam room Sandra came and took Fat Boy to be seen. She came back and said the surgery would be free!!!! I cried!!!! They would either do the surgery today or tomorrow for me to leave him but first she said you can spend a little bit of time with him. I picked up Fat Boy this afternoon besides the dental surgery they had cleaned his ears and clipped his nails. Gave me meds for him and different soft foods to try with him. These people are angels!!!! I am so thankful for them and this place❣️

Sep 17, 2024 · Beth NaceWe adopted our dog Aspen from the rescue on-site in Dec 2023 and decided to keep the Lois Pope Clinic as her veterinarian. She had her annual visit this morning. They were wonderful! Very nice clinic, helpful and caring staff, pretty ample parking. The doctor answered my questions and were supportive of my Aspen’s needs. Would definitely would recommend this clinic!!
Nov 16, 2024 · April FrisendaHad my rescue dog neutered there. Wonderful and caring staff. And a very affordable place to obtain pet health care compared to other coporate chain places. Highly recommend them!
Dec 23, 2024 · Charles NegreaOn Thursday, 12/12/24, I phoned the Lois Pope Animal Clinic as my rescue cat had a cyst on his back that seemed to come out of nowhere. I was frantic and phoned them as I have rescued all of my pets from Tri County and have used this veterinarian office. The lady on the phone did not seem to care and booked my appointment for 2:30 PM Tuesday, 12/17. When I asked her if she could just ask the doctor what I could do until then, she said no that I could ask at my appointment. Obviously I was very upset because I found her attitude to not be that of a warming and caring individual. I love my animals like my babies and I was concerned. She proceeded to tell me that I could go to an emergency clinic. I get that, but all I wanted to know is if it would be ok for me to use warm compressions and wound care until my appointment. I then asked to speak with their office manager. She also said that they could not assist with my questions as I would need an appointment. Most doctors of any kind will at least answer a question if they can't see you right away. I asked for her name and she said it was Rachel. I then said that I would like to speak with her boss. She hung up on me. Fast forward to today, 12/16,when I called to verify my cat's appointment and let them know that the warm compresses and wound care had caused the cyst to open, I was told that they canceled my cat's appointments and that I could find another veterinarian for all 4 of my rescued pets, which in fact were rescues of Tri County. I have been dismissed because I called them out on being insensitive and rude? Wow! Then they didn't even tell me they had canceled his appointment and I have taken off of work and my cat is still ill. This is definitely not a place that cares about their animals. I was very upset about how I was talked to and had every right to be. I am waiting for Sandra, the lady in charge to call me back in hopes that someone will at least see my cat today as he has waited 4 days to be seen. This is not a way to run a business! Update ---12/18 -Regarding your response- I never asked for a patient to be moved or squeezed in. That is a lie. Also, I did ask for you to check with the doctor a out whether or not they thought that I needed to go to an emergency clinic as you suggested and you refused to do that… another lie! My daughter did not call to apologize, but in fact to ask you why you would punish an animal by withholding their prescription just to be mean.? You told my husband that you would not refill our disabled dog's medication that he was due to have and without it, would suffer. How shameful of you to have zero disregard for animals that your office vows to care for! Furthermore, I do plan on reporting this incident to the someone that handles ethics in the medical community. I feel very strongly about how I was treated and I did in fact say that I wanted to speak with my pet’s veterinarian. As I said in my email to your office, you were on speaker phone when I called, so those witnesses have also typed up what was said. Both Rachel and Sandra were rude and never bothered to let me know they were discharging my animals from their service. My cat was injured and this office did not care enough to take a few minutes to ask a simple question and call me back. That is the truth and the bottom line. Everything that you're typing now is to cover your actions. I have never had any issues at this facility and really liked the actual doctors, but the problem is that staff will lie with zero regard for the life of the animals they promise to care for just to cover up their unprofessionalism. I was removed from the office ONLY because I told Rachel that I would be reporting the conversation to the doctor at my Tuesday appointment, which is exactly what I had intended to do. There is no way I would ever want to use your facility after what I experienced. which is unfortunate as the doctors were at no fault, just their unprofessional front office team. I was very lucky to find a new veterinarian's office that has an awesome front office!
Dec 19, 2024 · Blair BeckAmazing staff and doctors. Our rescue has taken a few cats there for surgery. They are always very caring, have a clean/modern facility, and do a fantastic job with their surgical procedures. I trust them and would bring my personal pets there if ever needed.
