Wow! I've finally found our doctor. Had been seeing the same vet for years. When he retired, the vet who bought the business didn't mesh with me. His prices are exorbitant and he explains things way too well. In other words, he confuses me because he'll repeat the same details in a hundred different ways. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a dumbee, but I usually understand what I'm told the first time. So...my experience with Helix hospital is 100% excellent from my first phone call to my visit. The staff are all kind and helpful. I can tell they're treated well because it starts from the top. Price was reasonable and no one tried to sell me what my dog didn't need. The doctor called me PERSONALLY the next day to share Lulu's blood test results. I have 3 pups and am calling tomorrow for an appointment for my sweet Chinese crested who is not only deaf but has skin cancer. He began limping today. I hate to see my dogs in pain. I think it hurts me more.

I took my dog for the first time to Helix Pet Hospital yesterday and was very happy with how kind, informative, and helpful Dr. Lorber was. He answered all my questions thoughtfully and patiently, and I didn’t feel rushed as I have at times felt with other vets. There had been a mistake in my appointment, and the staff fixed it quickly and kindly. I’m very grateful to get good care for my aging dog at reasonable prices from a kind and friendly staff.

Every Time!!! We come to Helix Pet Hospital we are treated like family! No up selling, no recommending tests that are not really needed, no unneeded return visits for unneeded follow-ups. Plus if its really bad The Doctors will call you at home to check on your pet. My only regret is that, I didn't know about them 2 dogs ago and thousands of dollars later. Thank You!

Flexible in working with my schedule. Missy was seen the next day, kept comfortable until she was treated and I was able to pick her up. I totally trust the staff with the care of our dog. They have cared for our three cats and our Nikki and now it is just Missy. They tell us what a sweet girl she was and when they see her they greet her by name.

Wee Wee incredibly disappointed with the treatment we received at Helix. Our dog is a patient there, and last night, she started vomiting so we rush her to the ER. At the ER, they gave us medication and told us that we can potentially get an x-ray at our primary care to save on costs. We called Helix first thing this morning, hoping they could fit her in for the x-ray. We were completely ignored. We waited 4 hrs, calling every 30 min, and were repeatedly told that we need to wait. After 4 hrs, Helix refused to see our dog bc we didn't have an appt. - despite the fact that she is their patient. It is disheartening to feel so ignored when your pet needs help. We've always trusted Helix with our dogs care, but after this, we're seriously reconsidering whether we want to continue going there.

I've known Dr. Lorber for over 10 years and was ecstatic when he opened up his own practice just 4 minutes from my home!
