We have had numerous animals looked at by Dr. Thresa, and now Dr. Tower. In the 20+ years we have gone to Animal Hospitable with either cats or dogs (20+ animals), we knew that they were getting the best of care. If they could not immediately diagnose an issue, they researched it, and if necessary consulted with Cornell University vets to provide the animal (and us) with best treatment or options. Our daughter became a veterinary doctor (DVM) partially due to the Animal Hospitable doctor's dedication to animals. The veterinary technicians and office staff always provided a personal touch, and are helpful and courteous.

Serving the Williamsville community and surrounding areas, our clinic is committed to providing a range of veterinary services to ensure the health and well-being of your beloved animal companions. At The Animal Hospitable Veterinary Clinic, we understand that your pets are integral members of your family. As a Pet Hospital, we strive to offer a comprehensive suite of services to address their diverse healthcare needs throughout their lives. Our team, which includes experienced veterinarians such as Dr. Thresa (past) and Dr. Tower (current), is dedicated to providing quality medical care with a personal touch. We aim to create a welcoming and professional environment where both you and your pet feel comfortable and well-cared for.
Based on feedback from long-term clients, The Animal Hospitable Veterinary Clinic has been recognized for its commitment to thorough and dedicated care. One reviewer with over 20 years of experience with the clinic, having brought numerous cats and dogs for veterinary attention, attests to the "best of care" received. This client highlights the clinic's proactive approach to diagnosis, mentioning instances where the veterinarians diligently researched issues and even consulted with specialists at Cornell University to ensure the best treatment options were available. This dedication to going the extra mile when needed underscores a commitment to comprehensive and informed veterinary practice.
Furthermore, the positive review emphasizes the impact of the clinic's dedication on aspiring veterinary professionals, noting that their daughter was partially inspired to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) due to the care and commitment shown by the veterinarians at The Animal Hospitable Veterinary Clinic. This speaks volumes about the passion and expertise within the clinic. The reviewer also praises the veterinary technicians and office staff for their helpfulness, courtesy, and personal touch, highlighting the importance of a supportive and compassionate team in delivering quality veterinary care.
However, it is important to present a balanced perspective based on all available information. Another review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the service received at The Animal Hospitable Veterinary Clinic. This reviewer describes a negative experience involving a refusal to perform a blood test on their anxious dog, a disagreement regarding medication, and an overall impression of "awful service" and "dirty rooms." This feedback raises concerns about the consistency of service and the handling of anxious animals within the clinic environment. It is crucial for prospective clients to consider all feedback when making decisions about their pet's care.
The Animal Hospitable Veterinary Clinic, as a Pet Hospital, likely offers a range of standard veterinary services. These typically include routine wellness examinations, vaccinations tailored to your pet's species, age, and lifestyle, parasite prevention (such as flea, tick, and heartworm control), and nutritional counseling. Regular check-ups are vital for maintaining your pet's health, detecting potential issues early, and ensuring they are protected against preventable diseases.
Beyond preventative care, the clinic likely provides diagnostic services to help identify the cause of illness or injury. While the specific diagnostic equipment available is not mentioned in the provided information, a standard veterinary clinic would typically offer in-house laboratory services for analyzing blood, urine, and fecal samples. Imaging techniques such as X-rays may also be available to visualize internal structures and aid in diagnosis. The positive review's mention of research and consultation with specialists suggests a commitment to thorough diagnostics and access to a broader network of expertise when needed.
In terms of treatment, The Animal Hospitable Veterinary Clinic would offer medical management for various illnesses and conditions. The extent of surgical services provided is not explicitly detailed in the reviews. However, most veterinary clinics offer common surgical procedures such as spaying and neutering, as well as other soft tissue surgeries as needed. It is advisable to contact the clinic directly to inquire about the specific surgical capabilities offered.
The environment of a Pet Hospital plays a significant role in the comfort and well-being of the animals visiting. While one review describes "dirty rooms," the other long-term client praises the professional environment. This discrepancy highlights the potential for varied experiences or perhaps changes over time. It is always recommended to consider visiting a clinic to assess the environment firsthand if possible.
Features of The Animal Hospitable Veterinary Clinic, based on the positive review, include a long-standing history of service, experienced veterinarians (Dr. Thresa and Dr. Tower), a dedicated and courteous support staff (veterinary technicians and office personnel), a commitment to thorough diagnosis including research and specialist consultation, and a personal touch in their interactions with clients and their pets. The negative review, however, suggests potential issues with handling anxious animals and maintaining a clean environment.
Promotional information is not provided in the given text. It would be best to contact The Animal Hospitable Veterinary Clinic directly at (716) 634-2240 or +1 716-634-2240 to inquire about any current promotions, discounts, or special offers for their services. You can also inquire about their hours of operation, appointment scheduling procedures, and payment options at the time of contact.
In conclusion, The Animal Hospitable Veterinary Clinic in Williamsville, NY, is a Pet Hospital with a history of providing veterinary care to the local community. While one long-term client speaks highly of the thoroughness, dedication, and personal touch of the veterinarians and staff, another recent review expresses significant concerns about service quality and cleanliness. Prospective clients are encouraged to consider both perspectives and contact the clinic directly to gather more information and determine if it meets their individual pet care needs.

Jun 02, 2024 · Jim BlissThe worst place I have ever been with a pet. The tech refused to do a blood test because my dog was anxious. I told her I was not comfortable medicating my dog and she told me she feels bad for my dog. I wouldn’t bring a pet rock here. Dirty rooms and absolutely AWFUL service there! Go ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!
Apr 07, 2025 · Krista IleckiWe had to put down our 14 year old cat and the care and kindness from Dr. Tower and the nurses at Animal Hospitable was truly outstanding. Thank you for taking care of our sweet boy with such compassion and tenderness.
Jan 22, 2025 · Jessica BolognaThe staff is excellent with my cat. She’s very vocal and behavioral but they do an amazing job with her. Dr. Teresa is an amazing doctor who cares about your animals that you bring to her. Everyone there cares about the animals you bring to them and they are always available to answer any questions or get you in for a last minute appointment. I trust the staff completely with my cat. Thank you everyone for all you do and for caring about our pets that we bring to you.
Jan 19, 2024 · samantha hammerDr Teresa is known in our home as “Mother Teresa” after she saved our Dalmatian’s life twice. Once by find a prescription to kill an obscure parasite and again with emergency bladder surgery. She and her team operated late into the night to save our Smokey’s life. Smokey gave us 14 years. Thank goodness for Dr Teresa … the most talented, determined, pet-loving Vet one could ever hope to find.
