I brought in my Max after taking to another vet that actually suggested my baby be out down. Max had a mas that had grown on the crown of his head and he pick at it to the point of making bleed excessively. After making it bleed a bad and not being able to stop it Intook him to an ER vet where I twice as much for just blood work and pain killer. at the Summit Hospital they quick gave him medication to make the mas smaller and remove it with in two weeks for have the price. I LOVE this place and my doggie is much better after his surgery.

If I could leave 0 stars I really would. I am absolutely disgusted by the encounter I had with this animal hospital. I’ve had issues with them in the past but never felt compelled to leave a review—until today. This experience was the last straw. I brought my cat in for an emergency at 9:30am, understanding that the hospital was the closest option for help. Bella was critically ill and didn’t have much time, but instead of receiving care, I was met by a rude staff member (old Hispanic man with white scruffy beard) I believe his name is Victor, who refused to let me in, citing "capacity issues." Keep in mind, they didn’t close until 11:00am and I’m standing at the door hysterically crying with my poor girl convulsing in my arms. He told me to call an emergency # all the way in Orland park and shut the door in my face. In the end, my girl Bella passed away while I was walking back to my car, devastated that this place couldn’t show the basic level of compassion or urgency. The lack of empathy and professionalism was staggering. For an emergency, this place is a nightmare—avoid it at all costs. It’s a heartless establishment that failed both me and my beloved pet when we needed them most.

My dog is usually scared of the vet, and will sometimes get a bit on the agressive side. Our (now pervious) vet always would sedate him to do any procedure due to this. However, coming here we were told sedation wasnt necessary, and they handled him amazingly. They were able to do draw his blood no problem, and even give him an eye exam. The service is also amazing from the staff to us, answering all the questions we had and making sure that we had everything needed for our pup. Great vets office, am definitely going to be a returning customer here.

I've been taking my pets here for over 10 years, from a new kitten, elderly kitty who later passed (2022), my elderly diabetic cat, a stary here and here, and a doggo (2016) who also passed. They have been wonderful from start to finish, with check ups, grooming, bording, hospitalizations, and end of care. I moved into the city in 2017, and I still (and will) make the trip. They are more than affordable, and every staff member I've encountered have been helpful, professional, friendly, and always remembering us. It will always be worth the wait in line.
