There are the friendliest people there that sincerely care about your animals. They have the most affordable price for spay/ neuter. It is very unfortunate that they are permanently closed , though I hope the family members are okay and hopefully someone else honors the amazing business that it was with care and price.

Welcome to Spay Clinic Society

Welcome to the introduction of Spay Clinic Society, located at 127 W Central St, Bethalto, IL 62010, USA. You can contact them at (618) 377-2420 or +1 618-377-2420. As a Pet Hospital specializing in spay and neuter services, Spay Clinic Society garnered a reputation within the local Bethalto community for its friendly approach and, notably, its affordable pricing for these essential surgical procedures. Based on customer feedback, the clinic was known for having a caring team dedicated to the well-being of animals.

One review highlights the positive experience of a customer, stating, "There are the friendliest people there that sincerely care about your animals. They have the most affordable price for spay/ neuter." This speaks directly to two significant aspects of Spay Clinic Society: the warm and caring demeanor of the staff and the accessibility of their services through affordable pricing. For many pet owners, especially those on a budget or involved in animal rescue, cost-effective spay and neuter options are invaluable for managing pet populations and ensuring the health of individual animals.

Another review, while somewhat lighthearted, also confirms the core service provided: "I took a cat, with testicles, and dropped it off in the morning. When I picked the cat up that afternoon, the cat no longer had testicles. That's pretty much what I expected but the price was affordable." This feedback, though delivered with a touch of humor, underscores the effectiveness of their neutering service and again mentions the affordability, which appears to have been a key feature of Spay Clinic Society. The reviewer's subsequent actions, while perhaps unconventional, further emphasize the perceived value and impact of the clinic's affordable services on local pet population control.

Considering these reviews, the environment at Spay Clinic Society was likely one that prioritized efficiency and affordability in the context of surgical procedures. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance or facilities aren't extensively described, the emphasis on friendly staff suggests a welcoming atmosphere. The primary focus seems to have been on providing a crucial service – spay and neuter – in a manner that was both accessible and delivered by people who care about animals.

The core services offered by Spay Clinic Society, as implied by its name and the customer reviews, centered around:

  • Spay Surgeries (for female animals): Ovariohysterectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the ovaries and uterus, preventing pregnancy and certain health issues.
  • Neuter Surgeries (for male animals): Castration, a surgical procedure to remove the testicles, preventing unwanted litters and certain behavioral problems and health risks.

Given the mention of "most affordable price for spay/neuter," a significant feature of Spay Clinic Society was undoubtedly its commitment to providing these surgeries at a lower cost compared to other veterinary facilities. This affordability likely made these essential procedures accessible to a wider range of pet owners and rescue organizations in the Bethalto area. The friendliness and genuine care of the staff were also notable features, contributing to a positive experience for those bringing their animals in.

However, it is crucial to address a piece of information from the first review: "It is very unfortunate that they are permanently closed..." This indicates a significant change in the operational status of Spay Clinic Society. While the clinic was praised for its services and pricing, it appears that it is no longer functioning. The reviewer also expresses hope that someone else might continue to provide similar services with the same level of care and affordability.

Given this information, any introduction to Spay Clinic Society for local users must include the fact of its apparent permanent closure. Therefore, while we can highlight the positive aspects of its past services and features, it's important to convey that these services may no longer be available at this location.

For local users in Bethalto, IL, Spay Clinic Society was known as a Pet Hospital that specialized in affordable spay and neuter services, delivered by a friendly and caring team. The reviews consistently praised their pricing and the compassionate nature of the staff. However, it is with regret that we must note the information indicating that Spay Clinic Society is now permanently closed. If you were a past client or were considering their services, you will need to seek alternative options for your pet's spay and neuter needs in the Bethalto or surrounding areas. We echo the hope of the reviewer that another entity might emerge to honor the principles of care and affordability that Spay Clinic Society seemed to embody.

I took a cat, with testicles, and dropped it off in the morning. When I picked the cat up that afternoon, the cat no longer had testicles. That's pretty much what I expected but the price was affordable. It was so fulfilling, I now pick up random cats, have them fixed, and return them to where I found them. I'm sure the owners will be thankful when they find out. Probably have a parade or something for me.

Took my cat Otis here and he got neutered and all his vaccines for only 80. Very friemdly staff. Honestly won't go anywhere else from now on.

My one year old golden retriever mix got spayed here today and I was very impressed. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and put me at ease about the operation. They have great customer service and the price, you can't beat! $80 for a 74lb dog. Every other place wanted over $250. So far things seem to be going well. She is very lethargic and has done nothing but slept all day. Walking into the house she fell to the ground and I had to carry her in. I'm sure it's just the anesthesia though. Hopefully the recovery time is quick. Thank you for the services at a fair price.

If you're nervous about taking your pet here, here's all the info. -Its a very straight to the point clinic. They don't sell anything extra like cones or pain medicine. Don't expect over the top care like you would from a normal vet. -English is the entire staffs second language. They are Asian. So when I think people are commenting on them being rude, I think they're experiencing a language/culture barrier . But they speak English VERY well and are very nice! -They only accept cash and you can pay before or after the surgery. -Everything they do from the limited hours, to not having a POS system is what they do to cut costs and make the service so affordable. -The building is old but everything seemed really clean and tidy. It's a very small place and they only do a few animals at a time from what I can tell. -They give you at home care instructions before you leave and go over what to expect when you take them home. So far my dog seems happy and healthy and the procedure was only $80.
