I went to the vet after my friend recommended them for being affordable and that definitely wasn’t my experience but I tried to look past it because my Cane Corso Puppy is the first dog that I’ve really had as an adult. Anyway the day after I got my dog my business partner passed away the so the first few appointments that my dog had my nanny was taking my dog to for me and they would either talk to me on the phone or relay back through the nanny what they said. I had called them explained I wanted to get my dog put on heartworm preventative and they told me they would do a heartworm test and that it would x amount $$ I can’t remember the exact price but I am sure I could overlook my paperwork I have because I don’t throw anything away. Anyway the day that they supposedly did this heartworm test on my dog. I spoke to them on the phone and paid for it and her preventative and they had told me my dog was heartworm negative and they put her on for preventative . They also explained because of her being a large breed and rapidly growing she’d have to come back and get weighed every month until she was almost full grown. In October when I was out of town I had an emergency with one of my goats and my friend took my baby goat to the vet and it was incredibly cheap compared to what I have been paying so I decided to switch my dog and cats there. Anyway when it came time to get calypso‘s first month of heartworm preventative from the new vet they told me they had to do a heartworm test and I argued with them about it because I’m like she’s already had a heartworm test done and it was negative and she’s been on for preventative every month since that test so why would you need to do another unnecessary test and bill me for it. They explained to me that the heartworm test was not actually on my dogs paperwork and so they had to do the test to show that she was heartworm negative and explain that if she ever got heartworm while being on that preventative that the heartworm preventative company would pay for treatment in full But they only do that if they have proof of a negative test beforehand . If you’re considering this vet clinic . I would proceed with caution you may be charged for test or whatever else that they do in fact not perform. Which is just completely unacceptable and I’m pretty sure is a form of fraud.

Recently moved here so I’ve only come twice with my puppy who is in the process of getting his vaccines. So I can only attest to my short experience here. I’m happy with the services they’ve provided for my pup and knowledge of the veterinarian. I will continue going here and will be bringing my cat in the future for her yearly check-up! My puppy didn’t even notice the shots because they gave him cheese whiz!
