This place is amazing. I had a very sick cat on my hands. I took her to a vet in Johnston and over the course of a week, I spent over $1500 with them trying to figure out what was wrong with her. I got exactly ZERO answers from the previous vet. Everything they tried didn’t work. I decided to jump ship and take my precious cat to Dr. Kate Trevino at South Des Moines and within an hour, I had answers and a new medication to try. MY CAT WAS 100% BETTER THE NEXT DAY. It was incredible. I’m so thankful!!!

!!!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!! We took our pup in to be evaluated, paid the $50 reservations for the visit, within 5 minute of us being there (showing up 30 min earlier then supost to) they wanted another $500 from us so we left. Less then 20 min of being home (we live 5 min from them) ARL was at our door trying to take our dog due to vet calling cause we didnt pay them what they wanted. The next day we took her to a different vet and had her taken care of for cheeper then they were trying to charge us. DO NOT take your pets to this vet unless you're willing to pay beofre you leave, they will try and have your pet taken

I've been bringing my pets here for several years and have been very happy with the Vet Techs, Veterinarians, and receptionists. They do everything they can for you and will refer you to the next best resource if they can't. I lost a cat to terminal/progressive feline leukemia after lots of help and resources from this hospital They were very caring and supportive through the whole process. I wouldn't trust anywhere else with my pets! Thank you to them!
