I give 5 stars to Smith county humane society for helping me pay for my cats spade surgery!! She did good except for when she came home her incision looked bad, reddish and an area where the skin was puckered up and slightly open. Over a few days the little reddish area looked worse and more opened. They told me to bring her back after looking at the picture, I did, they put 2 staples and gave an antibiotic shot and an e-collar. Charging me 80.00 for something that could have been prevented! Now a few days after staples they took fell out! I refuse to take her back unless she begins an infection!! They didn't take me back with her to discuss what needed to be done so at that time maybe they would have said this will be x amount of money but nope I had to sit in the waiting room. I would have chose a different vet if it wasn't for this was the one the humane society paid for half her surgery. I'm praying they pay for the follow up visit to fix their mess!! I don't have 80.00 and if I knew it would cost I would not have taken her in and done something different!! The pictures show the first one is before they stapled the tiny opening area, picture in middle is after the staples fell out and the last one is this morning.
