Terrible negligence! This place claim to be an avian veterinary, they also claim to be experienced with exotic pets, however this is a complete lie leading to animals being extremely mishandled and causing severe injuries. This is next level negligence and the place should be shut down. Stay away! Absolute butchers, this is how they “trim” a birds beak, this is pure common sense, someone with zero animal experience would’ve done a much better job, let alone this “doctor”. Don’t even have words.

Im new to the office, went for a dental consult and then actually dental cleaning/surgery. I was seen on time. The surgery went well and Doctor kept me informed of my dogs progress thru out the day. Doctor, front desk staff and vet assistants are all friendly and caring. I was quoted $1100 at another vet in the neighborhood for the dental surgery, IM SO GLAD I found Simmons, was charged $345 for the entire surgery and there were a few dental complications!! Highly recommend. It's in a South Philly neighborhood, so parking can be an issue, I suggest if you are driving make a morning appt when there's more parking, bcuz in the evening there's almost no parking. Thank you Simmons Animal Hospital!!

Walking into Dr. Brian Anmuth's office is like walking into an old friend's house for coffee. He and his staff are warm, caring, and most of all very calm. Dr. Brian explains things in terms that a lay person can understand, they are open in the evenings, which super-fits most people's schedules and their prices are reasonable. When you make an appointment in advance and you arrive, you are taken immediately without having to wait as it is in other vet offices. It is apparent that Dr. Brian and his staff love all the animals that they help!

They are awesome here . Dr. Brian just did my 11 year old Cairn Terrier cherry eye and removed her back toe due to a injury . They did a EXCELLENT job . Their prices are incredibly reasonable. My girl is doing great . Thanks Simmons Animal hospital. You guys are AMAZING

I take my cats and now rabbit here to see Dr. Brian. I love the service I receive here and I know my pets are well cared for. I love that the atmosphere feels close knit and everyone involved is always friendly and helpful. It’s easy to make an appointment and I am grateful that availability can be after work hours. My cat received a thorough dental cleaning and finally no more bad breath, my other cats allergies are under control and she is finally socializing and being herself again.
