Based on available information, Sauk Trail Animal Hospital offers a range of services expected from a reputable Pet Hospital. While specific details about the environment and a comprehensive list of services aren't explicitly available online, we can infer some aspects based on general practices within the veterinary care field and the limited customer feedback.
Typically, a Pet Hospital like Sauk Trail Animal Hospital provides essential medical services for pets. These often include routine check-ups and vaccinations to maintain your pet's health and prevent common diseases. Diagnostic services are also crucial, allowing veterinarians to identify potential health issues through various tests and examinations. In cases of illness or injury, the hospital likely offers medical treatment, which can range from administering medication to providing more intensive care. Surgical procedures, both routine and emergency, are also a common offering at animal hospitals to address various medical conditions.
Beyond medical care, many Pet Hospitals also offer preventative care guidance. This includes advice on nutrition, exercise, and overall wellness to help pet owners keep their animals healthy and happy. Dental care is another important aspect, often involving teeth cleaning and advice on maintaining your pet's oral hygiene. Microchipping services are also frequently provided for pet identification and to increase the chances of reuniting lost pets with their owners.
Considering the review mentioning grooming services, it's likely that Sauk Trail Animal Hospital offers grooming as part of their services. Grooming is an essential aspect of pet care, contributing to their hygiene and overall well-being. Services can range from basic bathing and brushing to more specialized haircuts and nail trims, catering to different breeds and needs.
Features of Sauk Trail Animal Hospital, while not explicitly detailed online, can be inferred from the positive feedback received. One reviewer highlighted the caring and intentional approach of a staff member named Verna, suggesting a compassionate and dedicated team. The reviewer also noted the overall niceness of the staff, which contributes to a positive and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. This personal and caring touch can be a significant feature of a local Pet Hospital, fostering trust and comfort.
However, it's important to acknowledge all feedback to provide an objective introduction. One review raised concerns regarding inconsistent pricing and treatment for African American customers, as well as dissatisfaction with the grooming services, specifically mentioning a poor haircut on a Shih Tzu puppy and the associated cost. This feedback is crucial for potential customers to consider and for the hospital to address. It's essential for any service provider to ensure fair and equitable treatment for all clients and to maintain a high standard of service across all offerings.

Nov 13, 2024 · Cheyenne OrwigThey ok but just not to good with African America customers they get charged differently and treated differently and the Grooms not good at all on my dogs I could have did better myself and was charged 62.00 for a mess up ball cut on my shih tzu puppies I could have cried
Apr 11, 2023 · Emma HudsonInsensitive, judgemental, rude. What was already a difficult, heart breaking decision was made so much worse by the attitude and treatment of the staff.
Jan 16, 2025 · Keely YoungLove taking a any of my pets there always so personable
Dec 26, 2024 · Amanda MitchellI took my large breed dog in after her not eating for 2 days. They did no labs and gave her an anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea meds and told us to come back in 2 weeks and they would do labs and other tests. 2 days later I took her somewhere else where they did labs an discovered her kid ray enzymes were low- and we are now learning her kidneys are failing. If we would have waited the 2 weeks she would have no hope- but they could have caught it sooner to prevent more damage then where she is now.I feel like they really let my dog, and family, down because they simple didn’t want to draw the labs and be more proactive
