San Diego Pet Hospital

I had a bad experience here i took my cat last Wednesday for what I thought was a hair ball and the doctor suggested and pressured me into all these unnecessary test which all turned out negative to then diagnose my cat with bronchial pneumonia i was made to feel like my cat and our family were not important the vet kept suggesting to get all the financial ways of help with care credit and two other ways of financial help and knowing we didn't have a lot of money she told me to give my cat to the humane society because i don't have the money to care for him , she also said in so many words my cat was going to die and there wasn't much they could do that ideally he needs to be in a hospital which would cost 7000 to 10,000 because she was saying all these what ifs about deadly diseases and her exact words were do you have a friend you can hit up for money , I was appalled and after all that the diagnosis turned out to be wrong 549.00 dollars later, than that Friday after my cat was in raspatory distress i took him to vca animal hospital on hotel circle in mission valley they were wonderful and took care of my boy after talking with the vet and given options they came to the conclusion he had asthma and had an asthma attack , had the vet in lemon grove took the time to evaluate him instead of jumping to all these conclusions and running unnecessary test they would have known this , we all know when our fur babies are not well its very traumatic and in my opinion they preyed on our emotions and weren't very considerate to our cat and family . I do not recommend this vet at all . shame on them for treating us this way .

The veterinarian Ann Eliopulos was knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain Kimba's health needs, ensuring I felt comfortable with the treatment plan. The facilities were clean and organized, which made for a positive experience. They showed genuine compassion for my pet, and it was clear that they truly care about the animals they serve. Kimba received top-notch care, and I appreciated the follow-up calls to check on her recovery. I highly recommend San Diego Pet Hospital to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate veterinary care. Thank you for taking such great care of my furry friend!

I am in from out of state when my young dog needed treatment the same day. This was the third office I had called, and the staff were kind and able to fit me in the same day. Dr. Desnoyers and staff were kind, compassionate, and thorough. I was incredibly happy to receive such great quick care at a reasonable price.

I am so thankful for the kindness and support I received when my dog was not feeling well. I was able to get an early morning appointment and avoid emergency or urgent care vet costs. The facility was clean and welcoming. The front desk staff were welcoming and kind. The assistant and the veterinarian were amazing, they explained everything and gave me options and prices up front! I’m so glad I found this veterinarian clinic last night and was able to get my dog seen in a timely matter. To everyone who helped me today, the biggest THANK YOU from my Koda and I!!

I have been bringing my dogs to SDPH for the past 15 years. They have been through many changes but the care they provide has always been amazing. They now have the option to schedule appointments online and upload any documents. They always try to accommodate any urgent needs as well. All 3of my pups love the vets and techs. They are always upfront with costs and offer options if needed. I love the updated office and website Thank you SDPH!!! Bender, Leela and Grady.
