Jan 24, 2025 · Erica BunceWe recently rescued a puppy with an organization that vets their dogs with Rootstown Veterinary Hospital. This hospital has a lot of attention to detail. A well groomed and maintained yard welcomes pets complete with a stocked pick up station. The waiting area is open, but also broken up: there is a communal feel but waiting pets can enjoy their own space. The paraprofessional staff is welcoming. Our technician asked thought provoking questions and also helped walk me through some puppy critical thinking (helpful if it’s been awhile since owning a puppy). The vet performing our puppy’s assessment worked well with our technician and the team effortlessly gave several vaccines. Afterwards he laid at my feet totally relaxed while the team answered questions and provided suggestions and support. I’m really looking forward to establishing care at Rootstown Veterinary Hospital.
May 09, 2025 · Stephanie DeverThese people are the nicest and sweetest people ever. My nefi was sick, sick kidney failer they took amazing care of her they did a lot for her, and us the animal hospital kept saying to put Lilly down. Rootstown, they didn't push putting her down they actually pushed for the other hand, saying she wasn't to that point yet. Lilly was given 18 months to live with rootstown and the help from them we got Lilly to 4 years ❤️ they worked so hard with her and I and even on the day we had to put Lilly down they did not rush us at all it was well past closing and they didn't try to rush us out. They let us take our time to sit with Lilly. I cannot say how much I love them for taking such good care of Lilly and letting me say my final goodbye to Lilly for as long as I needed. I wish I could do more for them, then just leave this review. These people at this vet are so caring, and they really are superheros in my eyes
