I recently took my cat to Prism Veterinary Dentistry for a preventative dental cleaning and possible tooth extractions due to resorption. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. What I loved: - Personalized Care: The intake appointment was on time, and the staff took the time to figure out my cat's specific needs. - Modern and Clean Facilities: The whole practice is modern, clean, and well-maintained. - Friendly and Attentive Staff: Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. The people at the front desk, the vets, and nurses all made an effort to say hello and make me feel like my pet was being well taken care of. - Expert Team: It was reassuring to know that multiple professionals, including an anesthesiologist, were involved in my cat's care during the procedure. Her pre-surgery bloodwork was also comprehensive and the full results were shared with me. - Excellent Communication: They kept me updated on the day of the procedure with multiple calls, and followed up the next day to check in. My cat ended up needing one tooth extracted, and the procedure went smoothly. A week later she’s pretty much back to normal apart from the shaved patch of fur for the IV and a soft diet for another couple of days. I highly recommend Dr. Ford and the entire team at Prism Veterinary Dentistry to any pet parent seeking the best possible care. They are professionals who provide top-notch service and expertise. Cost is high but about what I expected for specialists.

Dec 12, 2024 · Ryan CampbellI would highly recommend Prism! I was told that I would have to get full extractions done with my cats by a previous dentist; but thankfully, I went to prism for a second opinion. Rather than jump to the most extreme option from the start, they advised that we try a thorough cleaning, followed by daily tooth brushing. We were successful at mitigating their dental hygiene issues, allowing them to keep their teeth and remain pain free. You can trust that they will only go with the most drastic solution if absolutely necessary and will want to try less costly measures before reaching that point.
Dec 24, 2024 · francisco ribeiroWe came to Prism after learning that our baby Milo had stomatitis due to Feline calicivirus at just 6 months. He is a very special case and Prism treated him as such. Everyone is so kind and you definitely feel cared for. Julie is the sweetest receptionist and so welcoming. Yesenia always puts us at ease with her calm demeanor. Dr. Ford is the most attentive and caring vet that we’ve met so far. When Milo got all his teeth removed, we were so nervous. I really appreciated that Dr. Ford called us before the procedure and after. I especially appreciated the follow up email to check in on our baby. Our time with Prism has been nothing but exceptional and loving. We feel that they truly care about the pets that come see them. Hopefully we won’t have to come back to often due to flare ups (Milo is definitely tired of coming to the dentist lol) but we know that we are in good hands when we come. Our journey might be long but we are so happy that we chose to come to Prism. We truly appreciate everything that Prism has done for our baby and family 🩷
Feb 20, 2025 · Jasmine CruzI’m incredibly grateful for Dr. Ford’s exceptional care of my cat. Dealing with my cat’s dental surgery, along with his recent cancer diagnosis and mass removal, was overwhelming, but Dr. Ford’s thoughtful approach made all the difference. He prioritized addressing only the infected tooth to minimize discomfort and ensure my cat could begin chemotherapy without unnecessary complications. After a year of misdiagnosis, the issue was resolved immediately following the dental surgery, and my cat has been doing great ever since! I truly appreciate the compassion and expertise Dr. Ford provided throughout the process.
Feb 03, 2025 · laura patersonDr. Ford is super friendly and put me at ease regarding Juju's surgery. I also don't know what he did but apparently she developed a crush on him! The office is very organized and helpful, which makes everything much easier. Everyone was thoughtful, professional, and helpful.
Feb 26, 2025 · Avisheh AviniDo not go here! Surgery was on a Monday and Dr Ford confused my dog with another. I’m still so upset about the treatment of my baby that I don’t even want to write about it but need to warn pet owners. DO NOT GO HERE! They only want your money and don’t care about the health of your pet after they cause harm. They won’t even follow up on stitches or bleeding mouth. Attached is a photo of my baby being hospitalized at another veterinarian due to Prism’s negligence.
