Petco Vaccination Clinic

I took my dog here last night to get a Parvo vaccination shot and the girl who does the intake for them, told the vet (or maybe even notated it wrong) to give him a 3-year Rabies shot. I called to get the situation rectified and the Vet offered to give him the Parvo vaccine, however, since it was close to the closing time, she said that she won’t stay any longer to get it done tonight but maybe I’d have better luck at a different location. I told her that I could get there in about 10-15 minutes so that my dog can get the shot he needs and then she made sure to let me know that this is just her side gig and that she doesn’t want to wait for me to get there (keep in mind the store would’ve closed in the next 20 minutes and therefore they had time to fix THEIR mistake). The only remedy for their error was to get the Parvo shot for free two weeks later than today, which is meaningless and unprofessional behavior. I later encountered the girl who did the initial intake wrong at the Chandler location and she never apologized for her mistake, gave terrible customer service, and was outright inconsiderate and dismissive. I voiced my grievances to the Chandler vet and while he was very kind, his assistant was just as blunt and rude as the intake girl. If you are going to get vaccinations for your pets, just know to be careful and extremely mindful of workers like these who, quite literally, could care less about giving your animals the correct treatment.

It's always hit or miss when we go there for them to actually have the food my dogs eat as well. Staff is generally rued, I called about vet services (accidentally got the wrong store phone online) and the guy who answered just said they don't do that here, gilbert does and hung up. Didn't even offer the phone number. Customer service definitely isn't their strong suite.

I brought my dog in the Chandler store this morning. They said bring your last records of Ruby so I did witch was from there. Then when I get there they wants all the records from three years ago. So I left went home called her old vet got an appointment for Monday. So if someone adopted a dog off the streets and they would not have any records they would deny them there shots? They don't care about the animals.

Do NOT go here. Vet tech was VERY lazy, everyone seems like they don’t want to do their jobs. They Tried putting a muzzle on my dog after I specifically said he didn’t like it since he was NOT aggressive. He didn’t show any signs of distress they tried telling me about my dog before he even got to back even though he stood on the scale to weighed and walked to the back with the lady. LAZY LAZY LAZY. Referred me to a full service vet because he was “anxious” but when I drove to the GOODYEAR LOCATION which we love !!!!! They said they didn’t even try !! They did his rabies shot and disregarded their DUMB referral as he was not anxious. At the GOODYEAR location he didn’t want to leave the staff because he loved them so much. Please DO NOT go to this location. Nobody wants to work!! I only went because it was a last minute option as it’s the closest one to casa grande. POOOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

This place is a joke worst customer service(Brianna) so she said her name was , when I asked & worst Vet Caesar Ruiz DVM , I brought our two dogs in asked questions about the packages & Brianna said you’re asking to many questions maybe you need a full service vet, I explained I don’t need a full service I need simple vaccinations. We have a chihuahua that we rescued from lost our pets, she is has seasonal allergies in one eye. Brianna said, “we only vaccinate healthy dogs” Allergies are considered an unhealthy pet. ( she seemed rushed & upset with me asking any questions..mind you no one was even in line waiting..) We also have a standard poodle who was neutered a year and a half ago… , Brianna said she would consult the doctor,( my thoughts why do you need to consult for a surgery that we had over a year ago for simple vaccinations? ) after returning with the Veterinarian they both said they could not work on our poodle because he had a surgery 1 and a half years ago for being neutered & microchiped, I believe they were being bias, the ratings at this store are valid concerns, I asked why they were treating us like this especially with my son witnessing obvious bias mistreatment...Brianna said we asked to many questions & needed to leave, I asked for names & cards they refused give us, then I said I would be reporting them, she then told me we are banded for life to all Vetcos in the US & would be destroying our records that we payed for. I left with my heart racing, I was professional & kind, this place has had many overdoses & vaccinated reactions. I will be reporting the Vet & the vet technician to the board. I hope this keeps your dogs safe, in the end it was a blessing we love our fur family & would never recommend this place & now will band the entire place.
