Pet Care Center Esplanade

Never a good experience here. My dog has been getting care here for 3 years. I ordered more heartworm medication online and it was denied because they said my dog was due for an annual. I explained that she had an annual visit at another vet to which they responded to just send in the records via email so that the script could be filled. I sent in the records and then received a call saying because it was not done at their location, they would not honor it. The care of the pet is clearly not a priority and they only care about the money being made from appointments scheduled with them. Horrible customer service.

Our dog loves her vet. She’d love to go everyday. Great place and care. Fair prices.

Fantastic staff and doctors. From the first moment I checked in everybody was so friendly and positive. They took great care of my dog Daisy. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our kitty Pussboy is fortunate to have the Pet Care Center clinic so close to his home and receiving excellent medical care from competent and caring staff, they are amazing!! Dr Brett is extremely thorough and explains the diagnosis and treatments clearly and concisely. All the staff from check-in, vet nurses and admin staff are wonderful. Highly recommend!!!

NOTE: the negative review here is concerning the vet’s office/administration, and not the vets themselves. my fiancé and i both had negative experiences with this vet’s office, independently from each other but within the last month or so. first, i made an appointment on their website and received confirmation. i showed up for our appointment after driving across town only to be told “sorry we don’t have you in the calendar for the time your confirmation email says.” they blamed it on whatever platform they use for scheduling, and i just decided to go to Crescent City vet instead (would give them 10 stars if I could). Nobody from Pet Care Center Esplanade ever called to apologize or anything. Meanwhile, my fiancé went today and, despite confirming with them twice that a vet would be on site to help with the specific issue requiring the appointment, when he arrived they said “we don’t have a vet here to help.” so he took 90 minutes off of work for nothing.

Amazing experience! I Wish I found this clinic location sooner. Doctor Martin and his assistant casie *I hope I’m spelling her name right* were absolutely wonderful and very thorough with explaining what was wrong with our kitty Yourichi and what to do going forward very compassionate doctor and staff you can tell that they are passionate about their job also Elaine at the front was a star! Thank you for taking care of our girl today!

My husband and I visit New Orleans frequently for work and we always bring our little guy, Ollie with us. Unfortunately he seems to have any allergy to something in the south and frequently begins to scratch himself. Luckily, we were able to get an appointment the same day I called. The staff were very kind and helpful, the doctor knowledgeable and overall it was a great experience. Love having someone I can trust to help take care of our baby when we are in town.
