Parkville Animal Hospital

Brought my calico in for an ear infection and the staff were very gentle with and kind to her. I love learning about animal health and they were very informative about her condition and how best to administer care. The rooms and lobby were clean, the wait was very short and we were in and out in less than an hour (which is wonderful if you have an anxious or skittish pet). They offered additional treatments and blood panel options but there was no pressure to do them. Price points were excellent and affordable and they honored the first time pet discount (you do have to ask for it at checkout). I highly recommend this facility!

I took my dogs Zaylee to a vet that I had took my previous dog precious to for 16 years. I had another dog named Pearl that I also took to the same veterinarian. Precious developed a growth on her eye when she was about 8 years old. It was small enough for the vet to remove and he didn't do it. He started talking about the cost. As precious got older it became a problem and she passed away as a result of that growth that was on her eye. And then one time Pearl was sick and he just insisted that I put her to death. Last week Zaylee was sick and sIhe had been going back to this vet for the last 2 years and she was coughing everyday for over 2 years. And this day I took her in and he said well she has a hernia and you know she's coughing and that's bad news and he wanted to put her to death. I said no. I forgot I said I wasn't going to take her there anyway but she was coughing and throwing up and I needed to get her to a vet. He started in about the cost of how much the x-rays would be in the blood work would be. And I'm like wow I'm going to put my dog to death because the vet thinks I can't afford to take her and have her treated properly. He had done no blood work. That was no x-rays discussed. The only thing he wanted to do was put her to sleep. I immediately remembered I had a previous appointment that I canceled with Parkville in December. I paid the $68 that was required for the visitation for you to reserve the space and I was able to get in with him the same day. They did the blood work cost me $600 and everything was done. That includes the medication. Zaylee is a brand new dog. She's full of life and she's being herself. When I got her her eye had been inoculated in her breast had been removed because she had been a bruise so bad. I refuse to let her story be she would be put to death for an infection. Parkville saved zaylee's life. Matter of fact her and I are closer because she had been abused she didn't want me touching her and I had her for 3 years. Im able to pick her up now. She is not coughed. She's eating. She's running around. Because she's running from me She has three brothers and they will be going to Parkville now. And the vet said that she looked 15. When I take her in for her check up I want him to see her now because she looks all fancy because she has been cleaned up toenails clipped. She's looks beautiful now. And she's happy and she spoiled. And she's 11 not 15. She's doing great thank you so much.

Great place to take your pet. It was a very tailored, personal experience. I felt like my kitten would be well cared for when she had to have surgery. They gave me everything she needed to make a full healthy recovery at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them. Oh, and they’re not pushy if you’re worried about cost. Which I really appreciated too.

They took the time to answer all my questions as a new cat parent and provided valuable guidance on keeping both of my pets safe and healthy. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about animals, which made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate and knowledgeable care for their furry family members. Five stars all the way!

We’ve been going to PAH for 10 years, and absolutely love the care our dogs have received. The staff is so friendly and seem to love every all of their patients. I highly recommend taking your fur babies here for care.
