Dr. Gifford and the team at Ocean View are truly top-tier! We’ve been visiting regularly with our senior dog for years - in fact, for many more years than we thought we’d originally anticipated we’d be able to spend with her, thanks to support from this team! It never ceases to impress me how kind, patient, honest and helpful all the staff members are. We’ve had quite a few challenges with our “Penny,” even including some overnight hospitalization, and they are always responsive, beyond supportive and quick to accommodate any of our routine and/or last-minute needs. We prioritize Penny’s care and adore this team so much that we drive over an hour and a half to see them, as opposed to settling for any local vets. We are particularly grateful, as we’ve been in a palliative care routine, and have recently began preparing for the inevitable… with tears in my eyes, I just can’t say enough positive things about Ocean View, and Dr. Gifford in particular!

I have been taking my pets to Ocean View Veterinary Hospital for years! The staff is extremely friendly to both humans and our furry family members. They are thorough and knowledgeable. They aren’t just about making money, I feel they are genuinely compassionate in their care of our pets. If available, the doctor will offers affordable options, purchasable outside the office. Vitamins etc. A trip to the vet IS EXPENSIVE BUT I feel this office tries to work with me financially. We can all appreciate that!

I am new to the area and wasn’t an established patient but when I called to see if they could see my 3yr old Pug after he apparently injured himself jumping up to get on the couch, they were super accommodating and got him in with an hour and a half! They were super nice and took great care of him! I now know I have a vet for both of my dogs! Thank you!

We were almost to our summer place in Cape May Courthouse NJ when I realized that I had left our dog Penelope’s insulin at home. We remembered that several years ago we had taken Penelope to Ocean view Veterinary Hospital for an emergency visit and had also taken one of our other fur babies Levi for an emergency visit as well. They were wonderful then and this time as well. They fit us right in, reached out to our vet back home and after a quick exam, had us on our way. They were so kind, helpful and expedient I just can’t say enough good about them. Highly recommend!!!
