I appreciate NorthStar more than words could say. Each staff member and doctor was so kind, concerned and friendly. I will never forget their professionalism and how welcomed and comforted they made us feel in our time of need. My cat Loki was having extremely dangerous constipation issues for 2 weeks straight and needed to be seen 5 times. The doctors were extremely well capable of handling his needs and my concerns. They were so knowledgeable and empathetic including the staff at the front desk and the techs. All were so kind towards me and I brought him as often as he needed which was a lot. I’ve never been so happy than to finally see him able to use his litter box on his own after 2 weeks with the help of proper medication and some natural over the counter products. Thank you again and I will always tell people about NorthStar. You have a special place in my heart. I got him that flower water fountain to get him to drink more!

I can not say enough about this hospital! Everyone from the front desk, the technicians, and the Drs are compassionate and really take the time to listen and explain all steps. A Hugh thank you and recognition to the technologist who kept me updated with pictures and texts during my baby’s recovery.

The staff and Dr are absolutely amazing 🤩. We had to take our baby in last night because he started limping and would not put his front paw down. Our experience from the moment we walked in that front door was amazing, everyone was very friendly and professional we got there around 9:00 and we were taken back almost immediately, Dr came in and was very thorough and explained everything so we understood. I felt bad because we got there pretty late and I know they close at 11:00, but not once did we ever feel rushed or like they were trying to get us out the door, to say they all went above and beyond is an understatement. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. Thankfully our baby (Dak) is ok and is doing much better today. So thank you Northstar team for taking such good care of our Dak.

We brought our cat Chloe to Maple Shade NorthStar this morning at the advice of our vet for an abscess. From the moment we walked in the doors, everyone was friendly and welcoming. A tech came right out to triage her in the waiting room. There was a bit of a wait to see the doctor, which is understandable. I’m just thankful they did not take Chloe from us until the doctor was ready to see her. We’ve been to other emergency vets where they take the pet right away and then we wait in the ER for over an hour with no idea what is happening. As expected, the abscess needed to be drained. Dr Tursi was very upfront with us about pricing and where we could cut costs if needed. She was sweet and caring and gave us thorough information for what to expect when we came come. After talking with the doctor, she told us the procedure to drain the abscess would be about an hour and we could wait or go out for coffee. We decided to walk around the mall for a bit. Came back at the one hour mark and Chloe was ready to come home! She is already improving and getting back to her normal self! We could not have been more impressed with NorthStar! To Dr Tutsi, Kristina, the wonderful techs and friendly receptionists (and Shady)…thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking such good care of our sweet girl!

My experience here in mid June 2024 was very special. I cannot say enough good things. My 12 year old fospice (foster + hospice) pup’s health rapidly declined in a matter of hours. I knew what to look for, and immediately rushed him to NorthStar Vets (in Maple Shade). Dr. Sayeed conducted a thorough exam, and we both agreed that it was time to let him go peacefully. The care, kindness, love and compassion my pup received as he crossed over the rainbow bridge was exceptional. I am very grateful for our medical team that Saturday night: Dr. Sayeed (vet), and Danielle & Amanda (vet techs). These women are all angels… while Danielle and Amanda were prepping him, they sat on the floor with us, and my sweet old guy received numerous pets, hugs, and kisses. Even in the midst of my uncontrollable tears, Danielle and Amanda had me laughing a few times. They also spoiled my pup with some Hershey’s kisses. When the time came, Dr. Sayeed and I sat on the floor with him. He relaxed in my lap on that fluffy blanket. Dr. Sayeed spoke to him so kindly, loved on him, and spoiled him, prior to sedating him. I know my boy drifted off in an atmosphere of warmth, peace and love. I am very grateful. You ladies made a very painful decision a beautiful process. I could never thank you enough. This was my first visit to NorthStar. If I ever experience an emergency with a pup in the future, I know exactly where to go.
