Phrases like "Love the entire staff at this clinic" and "They go above and beyond" indicate a team that is not only professional but also genuinely caring and dedicated. The presence of individuals like Dr. Burke and Kelly, who are singled out for their outstanding qualities, suggests a clinic where personal connections are valued, and pets are treated with individualized attention and kindness. This compassionate approach is crucial for both pets, who may be anxious during vet visits, and their owners, who seek reassurance and empathy. As a full-service "Pet Hospital," Moravia Veterinary Hospital is equipped to provide a wide range of veterinary services designed to address the health needs of companion animals throughout their lives. While specific detailed lists of all services (like advanced diagnostics or specific surgical types) are not explicitly provided in the reviews, the general description of a "full-service" hospital, combined with client testimonials emphasizing trust and comprehensive care, implies a broad scope of care. Key services commonly provided by such facilities, and highly likely offered here, include:
Preventative and Wellness Care: This forms the cornerstone of proactive pet health management and is fundamental to any full-service veterinary hospital. Services would encompass:
Routine Physical Examinations: Essential for monitoring overall health, detecting early signs of illness, and maintaining a pet's well-being.
Tailored Vaccination Programs: Protecting pets against common infectious diseases based on their age, lifestyle, and risk factors, ensuring they remain healthy and protected.
Parasite Control: Comprehensive strategies for preventing and treating both internal (e.g., heartworm, intestinal worms) and external parasites (e.g., fleas, ticks), vital for pet and human health.
Nutrition Counseling: Expert guidance on appropriate diets for pets of all life stages, including advice on weight management and therapeutic diets for specific conditions.
Microchipping: Permanent identification to significantly increase the chances of reuniting with a lost pet, offering peace of mind to owners.
Diagnostic Services: Utilizing modern tools for accurate and timely diagnoses, which are crucial for effective treatment plans. A full-service hospital typically offers:
In-House Laboratory: For rapid results on blood work (e.g., CBC, chemistry panels), urinalysis, fecal examinations, and other essential diagnostic tests, facilitating quick decision-making.
Digital Radiography (X-rays): High-quality imaging for evaluating bones, organs, and identifying internal issues, often including dental X-rays for oral health assessments.
Ultrasound: For non-invasive, real-time imaging of soft tissues and internal organs, aiding in the diagnosis of various complex conditions.
Medical Treatment for Illnesses and Injuries: Diagnosis and management of a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. This would include addressing infections, dermatological issues, gastrointestinal problems, respiratory conditions, endocrine disorders, and various other internal medicine cases.
Surgical Services: Performing various surgical procedures in a sterile and closely monitored environment to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. This typically covers:
Routine Soft Tissue Surgeries: Such as spaying and neutering, which are fundamental to pet population control and health.
Other General Surgeries: For mass removals, wound repair, foreign body removal, and other common surgical needs.
Pre-Anesthetic Blood Work: To assess organ function and minimize anesthetic risks, ensuring a pet is healthy enough for surgery.
Advanced Anesthesia Monitoring: Utilizing modern equipment to closely monitor vital signs during surgical procedures, enhancing patient safety.
Pain Management: Implementing effective pain control protocols for pre-, intra-, and post-operative comfort, ensuring a humane recovery.
Pet Dental Care: Recognizing the critical importance of oral health to a pet's overall well-being, services would likely include:
Comprehensive Dental Exams and Cleanings: Often performed under general anesthesia for thorough scaling and polishing, addressing tartar and plaque buildup.
Dental Radiography: To assess the health of tooth roots and jawbones, identifying hidden dental issues.
Oral Surgery: Including tooth extractions when necessary, to alleviate pain and prevent further complications.
Pharmacy: Providing convenient access to necessary prescription medications and often a range of prescription diets, ensuring continuity of treatment and easy access for pet owners.

Mar 28, 2025 路 pistol30415I brought my 2 kittens here recently and WOW! All the staff were very friendly, courteous, and informative! I got what I feel was the best care, and received the BEST customer service I've received ANYWHERE in a while! The doctor was very patient as I asked all kinds of questions...not once did she seem annoyed with my questions, or the amount of questions I asked. My appointment was in the later afternoon and everyone was still very cheery. The best vet office I've stepped foot into EVER in my life! Will always bring my pets here, and DEFINITELY recommend every pet owner I know to bring their pets here as well!
Mar 22, 2025 路 Jessica Wardour dog was very sick and our vet at the time (for 20 yrs) couldn鈥檛 be bothered to see our dog. Moravia vets were amazing. They took the dog in immediately. She has had on going problems and Moravia vets are always there for her. They are honest and knowledgeable. Love them!!
May 09, 2025 路 RondaFirst time customer and will be returning. Dr. Barron and Mandy were so compassionate and welcoming. They listened to our concerns and explained everything we needed to know. I did not feel rushed, I feel we had a thorough exam on our pup. I was given so much information and kindness. Pricey because of the meds but was given information to get credit back to use towards future visits and more. I'm so happy and relieved to have found a vet that actually cares and is sensitive. Thank you! Also the receptionist was kind and courteous 馃榾
