My little family of me, my fiancé, and our dog (Ernie) are new to the Charlotte area. We were devastated when we found from the ern regency vet Ernie would need a splenectomy that we couldn’t afford. I sent an email asking MRAH if they could and they responded very quick with a quote and expectations! We can’t thank MRAH enough for giving us more time with our best friend. He’s post-op 3 weeks now and I noticed he wasn’t acting himself the other day so I called MRAH and was able to get a same day appointment. Sadly our buddy had a reaction to the stitches that caused an abscess, but we are on antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. He’s already feeling better and I can’t thank MRAH enough for being there for our little man!!

I've used Monroe Road Animal Hospital for 4 years and even though I've moved 15 minutes farther away, they are still way worth driving for. I get easy, prompt communication on the phone and website and the staff is super friendly. All the vets know their stuff, are happy to answer questions and don't push extra services that aren't absolutely needed. I get in and out of the office quickly on appointment days and their prices are very reasonable. They've taken terrific care of all my cats and I can't recommend them highly enough!

I FINALLY found a vet for my fish and axolotls. Dr Russell Breckwoldt is AMAZING! He is very patient, thorough, and asks lots of excellent questions about his patient’s behavior, environment, and symptoms. Mr Fat Puffer fish is on the road to become anchor worm free!

Monroe Road animal Hospital and their whole team are wonderful. I don’t know what I would do without them or my kitty Tom Felix they truly care and put their all into their work thank you so much. I’m forever grateful.

I had such a great experience at Monroe Road Animal Hospital! My 2-year-old son accidentally stepped on my bearded dragon’s tail, and the tip broke. I was so worried, but when I called, they got me in within 45 minutes. The girls at the front desk were incredibly kind and welcoming, and Dr. Russ was amazing—so friendly, accommodating, and gentle with my bearded dragon. He patched up her tail and even trimmed her nails during the visit. The entire visit cost less than $80! I’m so impressed with their care and efficiency. Highly recommend this place to anyone with exotic pets!

Always have loved this place but the visit today was unacceptable. I just paid $65 to have the vet yammer on and on about how his sister's dog was obsessed with eating poop, a story I had just heard him tell out in the hallway while I waited for him to enter the exam room. He never even really looked at my dog, just kept telling this same story repeatedly! Hopefully I can find a more engaged vet there who will be more interested in my dog than himself..
