Wonderful place for procedures. They don’t overcharge you for tiny little things and an excessive amount like BluePearl does. You speak directly with the surgeon during the surgery consult, as they go over plans and options with you. They give you the option to do non-surgical route even if it’s not suggested. All the staff is really friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Bonus, I was in and out in 30 minutes and that’s along with paperwork. Attaching a photo of my baby, Teddy day post surgery.

My dogs and I are staying with my dad as he recovers from surgery. My senior dog Kobe developed very red irritated eyes. I called my vet across town and he referred me to Metzler Veterinary Hospital. Kobe saw Dr. Jodie Smith and I must say I was very impressed. Kobe is my grumpy boy, especially when being handled, but Dr. Smith was so calm and gentle with Kobe. She put him (and me) at ease. She thoroughly checked his eyes and prescribed some drops for a corneal ulcer. Kobe is already feeling better just one day after his visit, and I’ll be taking him for a re-check the following week. Everyone was pleasant - the front desk, the vet tech, the vet. I will definitely feel comfortable taking my dog(s) to see Dr. Smith again, need be. She seems very knowledgeable, thorough, understanding, and kind.

I was recommended to Metzler Vet Hospital from an overnight ER when my dog needed surgery for a blockage in his intestines. Dr. Dorian and his surgery technicians met me with patience and understanding…went over all details before surgery. Since then, I have switched over my dog’s primary care to Metzler Vet Hospital. From the surgeon, now the general practice doctors (Dr. Smith and Dr. Valle), and their wonderful technicians and front staff, I know that my dog is in good hands when he’s there. Prices are reasonable and medical care, even better.

Everyone from the doctor to the staff were unbelievably compassionate and professional. They were there for my dog, Nino when he needed emergency surgery. When I left my dog there, I knew he was in good hands. The best part was they made it very affordable for my dog to have the surgery. Sadly enough, pet owners can’t afford the cost to treat their pets in life threatening situations. He had saved so many lives and so much heartbreak because of his compassion. I highly recommend them. They are true angels.

I went there the beginning of November with the intention of getting my dog fixed I talked with Dr. Doreen about her prolapse vulva before hand he assured me he would be able to help her he performed a surgery on her spayed her and assured me her prolapse would heal a few weeks went by and her prolapse had not gotten reduced he then said I need to do another surgery on her after the second surgery I asked about antibiotics he was quick to say he didn’t use em I did don’t this a lil disturbing she only had 3 weeks between surgery . December 28 I noticed what appeared as a uti in my dog Moana I called them they told me they were closed for holidays like everyone else I was able to get antibiotics from another vet obvious those antibiotics were not strong enough to fight the infection that has started. January 7 she was rushed to primary vet for swollen stomach vomiting not eating and very cold the infection had gotten much worse and nobody knew I spoke with the vet and called Metzler animal clinic Dr .Doreen called me back and again said he didn’t believe in antibiotics and agreed that he messed up the first surgery hopefully Moana pulls thru this she is now fighting a deadly infection in her abdomen not one time did he say what can I do to help or even a concern of being apologetic but he did want to get loud and rude with me saying I messed up what do you want for me I was charged for both surgery and also paying another vet to fix his mess up I strongly urge not to come here they are not compassionate about animals only concerned with drop dog or cat off at 7 we will do surgery and collect money I only pray Moana gets thru this!!!!!
