My shih-tzu was very sick. I had bought her and my schnoodle some salmon skin and coat chews off Amazon to help them with her allergies and itching so much. They worked great. They stopped scratching after just 2 pills. However, they both got diarrhea badly. I gave them pro-pectalin and my schnoodle got better. My shih-tzu didnt. She got worse I had stopped the chews when the diarrhea had started but it still didnt help. She was vomiting and the diarrhea got so bad she couldnt even control it. It would just leak out of her. She stopped eating and stopped drinking water too. Her vet couldnt get her in for like a week, and I called several places near me only to be told the samething. One of those vets however gave me Lake Chatuge Animal Hospital name and number and said to try them, so I did. They said yes bring her in later that day and theyd check her out. They checked her for parvo, (the vet didnt think she had it but she just wanted to be safe), did their exam on her, gave her nausea medicine, subcutaneous fluids, antibiotics, dewormer, gave her probiotics, and sent her with a supply of antibiotics for 5 days as well as probiotics. They answered all my questions, and before treating her they gave me a run down of each option the vet suggested. They are Very respectful, honest people. Very clean, and also very safe. They had us wait out in the vehicle until they were sure she didnt have parvo or something that could have been contagious to other animals and I appreciated that level of care. I wouldnt want someone bringing their animal into the vet knowing it could have something such as that and I wouldn't want to do others that way either. So I greatly appreciated that about Lake Chatuge. My dog has gotten better. Shes eating, drinking and being herself again. So if something like this ever happens again and we can't get into our local vet that we normally use for some reason I will definitely be bringing them to Lake Chatuge Animal Hospital again. Thank you guys for caring and taking the time to help my baby girl get better. Sorry for writing a book about the place but I just wanted to let everyone know how truly grateful I am to you for helping my baby. Without yall helping me with her I truly dont think she would be here today.

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and 1 of our 3 pups got sick. The staff and doctor were extremely kind, open, and very keen on helping us and making our pup feel better. They were wonderful! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place where your animal feels safe, cared for, and loved.

We are new to the area, just move a few months ago, and one of our dogs was sick. We needed to get our dogs seen that day. We called numerous vets, but our only option seemed to be a vet over an hour away. Luckily this vet was able to our dog and was much closer. The entire staff was very kind, warm and welcoming. They took to the time to explain what was going on with our dog and went over the cost in detail and gave us the option to choose what tests and exams we wanted performed. Highly recommend this clinic.

Everyone at Lake Chatuge Animal Hospital was great. They cheerfully accepted us on a very short notice appointment, thoroughly explained all examination and treatment options, and had our four-legged family member feeling much better by the end of the day. They even went out of their way to check in on us the next day for a follow-up on Baileys progress. We recently moved to the area and have happily found our new home veterinarians. First class all the way!

Recently took my dog to get neutered and they did a great job and took great care of both him and his Mommy, me. He's a big baby and came out of it happy and well cared for. Love these guys!!
