We can't thank Julie enough for taking care of our dog Fred for several years of his life. She was the only professional who correctly diagnosed his allergies so we stuck with her ever since that moment. Later in his life she was an invaluable resource to keep him comfortable all the way up until the end. She always went out of her way to communicate with us and we truly appreciated it. Thank you Julie for everything!

This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed overview of what to expect, drawing upon available information to present an objective picture of this veterinary practice.

While specific details about the clinic's environment, such as the physical layout, ambiance, and available facilities, are not explicitly provided in the given information, it is reasonable to infer that as a professional veterinary practice, JULIE MICHELS, DVM operates within a clean and organized setting conducive to providing medical care for animals. Pet hospitals typically feature examination rooms for consultations and treatments, and potentially surgical suites for more complex procedures. Depending on the scale and scope of the practice, there might also be areas for housing recovering animals or for administering specialized treatments. We encourage potential clients to contact them directly at (952) 435-2655 or +1 952-435-2655 to inquire about the clinic's facilities and to schedule a visit to familiarize themselves with the environment.

The core of JULIE MICHELS, DVM lies in the veterinary services offered. Based on the available customer reviews, we can glean insights into the types of care provided. One particularly positive review highlights Dr. Michels' expertise in diagnosing and managing a dog's allergies over several years. This suggests a strong capability in identifying and treating dermatological issues in pets. The review further mentions Dr. Michels' invaluable support in providing comfort and care during the pet's end-of-life stage, indicating compassionate palliative care and support for both the animal and its owners during difficult times. The client also praised Dr. Michels' proactive communication, a crucial aspect of quality veterinary care that fosters trust and understanding between the veterinarian and the pet owner.

Conversely, another review presents a less favorable experience, stating that a dog's rash was not effectively treated, and instead of a referral to a specialist (a dog dermatologist), ineffective medication was prescribed. This review raises a point about the practice's approach to specialized cases and the decision-making process regarding referrals. It is important for pet owners to consider both positive and negative feedback when evaluating a service provider.

Considering these reviews, it appears that JULIE MICHELS, DVM may possess particular strengths in diagnosing and managing certain conditions, as well as providing compassionate long-term and end-of-life care. The positive feedback regarding allergy diagnosis is significant, as allergies can be a persistent and challenging issue for many pets. The emphasis on communication is also a valuable attribute, contributing to a better overall experience for pet owners.

However, the negative review suggests that in cases requiring specialized expertise, such as complex dermatological conditions, the practice's approach might not always align with the client's expectations. It is possible that the practice has evolved or adapted its protocols since this review. Potential clients with specific concerns or conditions should proactively discuss these with Dr. Michels to understand their approach and whether a referral to a specialist is deemed necessary.

As a Pet Hospital, JULIE MICHELS, DVM likely offers a range of general veterinary services beyond the specific cases mentioned in the reviews. These typically include routine check-ups and wellness examinations, vaccinations to prevent common diseases, parasite prevention and control (such as fleas, ticks, and heartworms), dental care to maintain oral health, nutritional counseling to support optimal diet, and potentially basic surgical procedures like spaying and neutering. Diagnostic services such as blood tests, urine analysis, and imaging (like X-rays) may also be available to aid in diagnosing various health issues.

Furthermore, pet hospitals often offer or have access to a pharmacy to dispense prescribed medications. They may also sell related goods such as specialized pet food, supplements, and other healthcare products. Local users are encouraged to inquire directly about the specific services and goods offered at JULIE MICHELS, DVM.

Regarding features that might distinguish JULIE MICHELS, DVM, the positive review highlights Dr. Michels' diagnostic acumen in the case of the dog's allergies and her commitment to communication. These could be considered key features of her practice – a focus on accurate diagnosis and maintaining open lines of communication with pet owners. Visit was not helpful. They did not know how to treat my dogs rash. Instead of referring us to a dog.dermatologist they prescribed meds that were worthless.
