Hemlock Animal Hospital

I have taken two of my dogs to Hemlock since they opened and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. They helped me with my elderly chihuahua through her last years of her life. And more recently with my dog who is obsessed with eating things that should kill him. He’s still alive and well and that alone speaks volumes for their capability and knowledge in animals health. Thank you Hemlock for treating my dogs as your own.

Do not go here ! I had emergency with my dog in the middle of the night waited on them to open took him right in when they opened kept him all day and when it was time to pick him up at 530 pm. I could not pay my bill in full! They called the cops to the store because I could not pay the bill in full. NO JOKE!!! Would not let me pay half now and pay the rest in two days. Would not work with me at all. Unbelievable!!!! Never will be coming back they proceeded to have the cops write criminal trespassing warning and we did not get our dog they kept him and would not let us take him. My baby is stuck there alone with no one there all night or tomorrow all because I was not prepared for an emergency and they said if I didn’t have my money on Thurs. that they would proceed to send him to the pound and I would be charged with abandoning him. These people say they care about the pets NO WAY MY POOR PUPPY IS SICK AND ALONE AND NOT WITH HIS FAMILY WHEN HE COULD BE WHAT BAD VETS. Get a heart its not always about money..

We recently moved to this area & finding a good Veteranaian was a huge concern for us. Our old Veteranaian at Woods Animal Hospital recommended this place & we are sure glad that they did. Everyone here is so nice! And very professional. They take great care of our Babies & are very patient & thoughtful when dealing with my Belgian Malinois, Jackal. I can't recommend this place too much.

Hemlock staff have been nothing but knowledgeable, informative and compassionate about our animals and the costs associated with the necessary treatments. I also care for many feral animals at my own personal expense and they are always transparent with costs and treatments and do not pressure me to make any decisions. We drive an hour just to bring our animals to Hemlock because of this transparency.

Hemlock is an absolutely wonderful vet office! I never feel like I’m being overcharged and they always go above and beyond to take care of all of my fur babies. I drive an hour still to bring my babies there after moving because of what great care they take! They did a limb removal surgery on one of my pups about 3 years ago and it saved her life! I trust them with everything and would recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable vet!!
