Hands down the best vet around!!! Every assistant, secretary, and of course the amazing Doctor took exceptional care of my cat before, during, and after her surgery. They truly care and were super gentle with my nervous kitty. The followup to check in on her was also exceptional. I have went to other vets in bayridge and had horrible experiences. So grateful to have found this one!!!

This review is long overdue, since Dr. Briones has been our family vet for almost 15 years. He helped us with animal preparations before bringing home our adopted son, cared for our pets through sickness and loss, and came to our home at end-of-life for our dog. He is currently the vet for our two cats and we would never go to anyone else. He is a first-rate clinician and advocate for all animals, approaching care with compassion and scientific curiosity, always. He will give you the information you need to hear even if it isn't easy, which means that the customer isn't always right - and we shouldn't be! Dr. Briones is currently caring for one of our cats who has a respiratory infection and just saw her in his office today, a Saturday, and he has collaborated with VERG, the emergency vet service, for continuity of care. And I cannot forget his staff, who are always kind and professional. I work in healthcare and only wish that doctors for humans were more like Dr. Briones. We appreciate you so much, Healthy Pets!

Dr Briones and his entire staff could not be nicer or more caring. They took care of my cat from the time she came into my life until her death. When Sophie was having problems Dr Briones would call to follow up on her condition even on holidays and Sunday when the office was closed They always showed compassion and sensitivity in their interactions with both the patients and the pet parents I am grateful for the care they gave my Sophie and highly recommend them I

I have taken my dog to this Dr. Briones for years even though he is not sort of a nice person but still i could cope with it. Today I took my dog with a severe allergy he could not stop scratching his nose, ears and paws day and night. What doctor Briones told us was that must likely his allergy was due to ears infection and that his nose was probably due to his teeth condition ,which it was not . Now after checking him and giving the medicine his conditions we asked him for his advice as how going around to have the dog receive this treatment and what he said was that we have to figure it out and left without saying any thing .He is very rude. Needs polishing his attitude Also says that if the dogs bites he does not apply any medicine onto the pet. But if you p ay him extra he will do it. If he does not like dogs that bite he should let people know in advance This doctor should be called Dr, Ca....br...nes Hope never to go back there

Can't speak for anybody else's experience, but I thought Dr. Briones was great. He came for a house call, right after major snowfall overnight. He and his assistant were very patient and understanding, and did their best to calm and work with my highly reactive dog. Unfortunately, my dog decided to not cooperate at all, even while sedated and muzzled, so we couldn't do anything in terms of exams or treatment. That said, he prescribed some antibiotics as a precaution, and told me that his office would work with me to arrange a special visit with minimal triggers for her so that they could properly sedate her and examine her. I wish we could have done more, but it was through no fault of the doctor's. Found him perfectly professional, polite, and accommodating.
