Great atmosphere and wonderful groomer Laurie! Our dog Bam Bam always acts scared until he sees Laurie. She does a great job, cuts him just like we like without having to tell her. She also keeps up his 6 week appointments which we really love!

I bring my older chihuahua mix dog here to cut and file her nails for under $20. Lori is an awesome groomer and great with my dog. She is the only person my dog trusts and let's get near her at all. I have been a satisfied customer for atleast 5 years now. Highly recommend!!!

Friendly staff, but I've been waiting almost over a month for test results they said they would get back to me within two weeks. I called last week and they said they would leave a note on Dr's desk. I paid over 200 dollars to get this test done for my cat and now I'm starting to feel robbed.It seems like this is a common problem now that I read other people's reviews. I would like to hear back from you guys soon but now this is taking too long.

We came here after having bad experiences at 2 other places. We have 2 dogs. One of them was diagnosed as being diabetic around 2 to 3 years ago. We started getting diabetic dog food and insulin from here then they wanted blood work every so often. After a while the price of the dog food and insulin went up. The dog food went up so much, we requested a list of dog food we could get on our own and got it cheaper. The vet was supposed to get back to us about the dog food at the time but never did. Our dog got a UTI and we had to take her to an urgent care where they did a blood test. We tried telling the GVR Pet Center we got a blood test from the urgent care which was expensive and we didn't want to do another one so soon from having one done. We got the records printed for them to see. They keep wanting to get our dog in for the blood test and other tests whenever we call to order more insulin. If the prices weren't so unaffordable, we would. Today we called for more insulin. They called my mom back and was asking how our dog is doing, which isn't very well. The person who called needed to call us back so they could tell the vet about what's going on with our dog. They never did call back so we aren't sure if they are getting us more insulin or what is going on. Another thing is it never is a get in, get out experience here. We always spend at least an hour for an appointment which isn't too big of a deal but the seats they have in the rooms and waiting room are uncomfortable. My mom is older and I have scoliosis in my back so the seating definitely doesn't help matters. Maybe with the extra money they are charging for everything now, they could get more comfortable seating.

UPDATE: I spoke to Donna who was very pleasant and made this situation right. That's fast and excellent customer service. I'm glad that this was rectified and look forward to working with GVR Pet Center to keep my dogs healthy and happy in the future. New to the area and had a bit of an emergency with my dog yesterday. I couldn't get in touch with our regular vet so I called GVR because they are much closer to our new place and had a similar rating. I spoke to the lady on the phone, explained the situation, and she said an appointment had opened up for 2pm today (Saturday). I told her I'd call back to cancel if I got in touch with our normal vet but that we'd be transferring both of our dogs to GVR soon. She said that was fine. I got in with our regular vet yesterday and by the time we got back home, GVR was closed. I just called at 8:30 am to cancel and open up the slot for someone else and was told a $30 fee is being added to our account. There was no warning of this from the person I spoke to yesterday and it's super off-putting as a brand new client. I haven't even taken my dogs there and I already owe them money?
