Grayson Valley Pet Clinic: Carl Grimmett DVM

First I'll give this disclaimer. Dr. Carl Grimmett is my friend. I've known him for 30 years. Yes he takes care of our animals (New addition Fritz pictured) but I want to describe why you can trust him to take care of yours. Carl is a man of integrity. He will always do what is right. Always. He is passionate about his work, and he loves animals. He is an excellent veterinarian. Carl doesn't do this for the money. He does it because he cares and enjoys what he does. I know him. I've run a small business too and I know that no matter what, sometime or another someone will be unhappy. It just happens. I also know that if you go to the owner and tell him your problem, he will usually fix it. It is what we do.

Brought my precious 💙Taz💙 here to Veterinarian extraordinaire Carl Grimmett his entire 16 yrs, 11 1/2 months. Plus two other pets. Dr. G always cared for my furbabies with the utmost compassion. I'll always love GVPC.

I have to give 1 star just for my own peace of mind. I entrusted my pet to this clinic for private cremation and they communally cremated him, and spread him. I have nothing left of him. I don't think they even honored my request of paw prints and a fur keepsake. All that was offered was a refund. I've seen things like this happen before, and the response was SEVERE remorse from the clinic who messed up, and offerings of other ways to remember the pet. But again, in the brief phone call, all we were offered was a refund. And let me add- it had been over two weeks and WE had to call THEM to know where our baby went. I cannot in good conscious recommend a clinic that would mess up something so important and then seemingly not be very remorseful. It really sucks because the female vet took VERY good care of my little chiweenie and the staff was very sweet. But this is too much of a mistake for us to feel safe going back.

We board Maska, our Alaskan Malamute here. Always pleased with Dr. Grimmett, the staff, boarding, bathing and pet care for our furry boy.

Love this vet. We have been using them for around 13 years. They know each of my dogs by name and are always friendly. Dr. Robinson will even call after a couple of days to make sure your pet is still doing well and check to see if you have any questions. Dr. Grimmet is just as awesome. Actually gave me his cell number once and said to call him if anything with my dog changed over the weekend. Didn't have to call, thank goodness, but having the option instead of just being told to take the animal to the ER Vet was very nice. I have three dogs, a Lab/Chow mix, a Husky, and an American bulldog/Boxer mix. They have never been anything but caring towards all of them.
