Please double-check the pricing, as we were explicitly informed that the first vet visit would include a $79 clinic fee plus the vaccine costs. However, the male vet tech at the front desk surprised us with a $143 "First Time Puppy" fee, which did not include a comprehensive examination or fecal test. As a result, we ended up paying an extra $150 (with tax) simply because our dog is a puppy. If your clinic plans to charge such high prices, I believe transparency is key. It would be helpful if the fee included a comprehensive examination or fecal test, as this would allow owners to better budget for the visit. Clear pricing and a holistic review, along with documentation that the dog is doing well, would help owners maintain accurate records. For those with an extra $150 to spare just because your dog is a puppy, this clinic might work for you, but I would recommend considering other options. There are several clinics in the area that offer a discount for first-time visits (on average, $20 off), while this clinic charges a steep fee. In all my years, I have never paid more than $75-100 for a first-time clinic fee. That said, the doctor was very friendly and provided great advice, including a heart check. However, this did not constitute a comprehensive exam.

Franklin Farm Clinic was referred from one of my neighbors. My previous vet’s quote for a spay was too high for me and I wanted to check another vet. Dr. Phillips was very knowledgeable and told me some information on my pup regarding reasons when to spay that any other previous vets didn’t inform me. Her estimate to spay is also very reasonable. I am very happy with my new vet. All the staff and technicians were also very nice, my furry baby was being welcomed and loved from the moment she entered! Highly recommend!

All of the vets and vet techs provide excellent care for my dog. They treat her like she is their own dog. It makes my day to see all of the staff get excited to see my dog and welcome her with so much love. I have no doubt that she is in good hands when I bring her in.

So grateful that we found Franklin Farm after moving to the area. Our dog can get anxious going into the vet, and this practice has worked with us to still treat him as much as possible by exchanging pics, etc. Vice bringing him in all the time. They’re very friendly and have made the transition to their practice very easy! He had a bad bout of skin issues and now we have it under control! Thank you.
