Situated at 3 Swimming River Rd A, our center offers a unique and stress-reduced veterinary experience tailored specifically to our feline patients. Unlike general veterinary practices that cater to a variety of animals, our exclusive focus on cats allows us to develop specialized expertise, create a cat-friendly environment, and provide comprehensive care that addresses the unique needs of these beloved companions.
As a specialized Pet Hospital for cats, the Feline Medical Center boasts an environment designed with the comfort and security of felines in mind. We understand that cats can be particularly sensitive to new environments and the presence of other animal species. Therefore, our clinic is intentionally designed to be quiet, calm, and exclusively for cats, minimizing potential stressors often found in multi-species veterinary clinics. One delightful feature, as mentioned by a satisfied customer, is the presence of friendly resident cats who roam the center, offering a comforting and familiar presence to visiting felines and their owners alike. This thoughtful detail contributes to a more relaxed and trusting atmosphere.
The team at the Feline Medical Center comprises veterinarians and staff who possess a deep understanding of feline anatomy, physiology, behavior, and the specific medical conditions that commonly affect cats. This specialized knowledge allows us to provide a higher level of care, from routine wellness examinations to the management of complex medical and surgical cases. Our veterinarians are dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in feline medicine, ensuring that your cat receives the most up-to-date and effective treatments available.
The Feline Medical Center offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to the unique health needs of cats. Preventative care is a cornerstone of our practice, emphasizing regular wellness exams, customized vaccination protocols, parasite prevention, and nutritional counseling to keep your feline friend in optimal health. We understand that early detection is key to managing many health issues in cats, and our thorough examinations are designed to identify potential problems before they become serious.
Dental care is a significant area of expertise at the Feline Medical Center, as highlighted by the glowing reviews. We provide comprehensive dental services, including routine cleanings, dental examinations, and the management of complex dental issues such as extractions. One customer shared their emergency experience where their cat required the removal of 18 teeth, and they were incredibly grateful for the exceptional care provided, noting their cat was feeling much better afterward. This testament underscores our ability to handle urgent and complex dental needs with skill and compassion.
In addition to dental care, the Feline Medical Center is equipped to handle a wide variety of medical conditions affecting cats. Our veterinarians are experienced in diagnosing and treating common feline illnesses such as upper respiratory infections, urinary tract diseases, gastrointestinal issues, and skin problems, as well as more chronic conditions like kidney disease, diabetes, and hyperthyroidism. We utilize advanced diagnostic tools and in-house laboratory services to aid in accurate and timely diagnoses, allowing us to develop effective and tailored treatment plans for each patient.
While specific details about surgical facilities are not provided, a specialized feline medical center would typically offer a range of surgical services relevant to cats. This could include routine procedures such as spaying and neutering, as well as soft tissue surgeries to address various medical conditions. Given the positive feedback regarding emergency dental surgery, it is reasonable to assume that the Feline Medical Center is equipped and staffed to handle other necessary surgical interventions with the same level of expertise and care.
One of the standout features of the Feline Medical Center is the exceptional client communication and compassionate support provided by the staff. A recent customer shared a wonderful experience, from the initial phone inquiry about a dental cleaning to booking a follow-up appointment for the next year. They specifically praised the receptionist for taking the time to explain all options, pricing, and booking procedures. Furthermore, when their cat experienced a prolonged recovery after the dental procedure, the veterinarian offered a free check-up to address their concerns. This level of care and dedication to creating a trusting atmosphere truly sets the Feline Medical Center apart.

Oct 11, 2024 路 Taryn DonofrioSuch a wonderful experience from my initial dental cleaning phone inquiry to booking next year's visit. I was calling around a bunch of places and it was a no brainer take my money after my first conversation with the reception, took her time and explained all my options, pricing, and booking. My kitty was taking a while to recover from her dental and Dr saw her for a check up free of charge because I was concerned momma. Not going elsewhere unless I move states, amazing and caring staff and everyone did a great job creating a trusting atmosphere, thank you
Apr 03, 2024 路 Katerina BagatskaCompetent, professional and loving care! Good communication skills, too. Furbaby care at its best!
Feb 27, 2024 路 Nancy AliSome of the worst customer service anywhere and completely unwilling to help. My cat was not eating and was going downhill. They said they were fully booked and wouldn't squeeze her in. She was put to sleep 3 days later. Meanwhile, she had been there before. Do not go to this horrible place
Jun 07, 2024 路 Eric GollI came on here to give the exact same review as Soph M. The facility was highly recommended but unfortunately they aren't taking on new clients, not even for boarding. The receptionist was curt and dismissive. Offered nothing but silence after she said "we aren't taking new patients." I asked "not even for boarding?" Long silence as if I annoyed her. Don't bother with this place. I rarely write bad reviews but the receptionist rubbed me the wrong way. At least offer another facility. zero stars
