We unfortunately had to transfer our dog to a different vet after going here for ten years with previous pets and our current dog after continually being given medication that causes seizures for our dog. Before covid there were other vets at this practice but now it appears only one vet remains and it no longer seems to be a good fit. While I don’t want to bash the staff and I am sure they are trying their best, there is a lack of friendliness and welcoming in this office and every time we are seen it feels we are treated in a condescending manner. Overall if you are looking for the best care for your furry family member I just cannot recommend this office. I wish them the best as they strive to give animals in the area better care and hope they can improve in their attitude towards owners and family members, because after reading other reviews it is clear my family is not alone in our struggle we’ve had with this practice.

Features that might distinguish Enfield Animal Hospital could include the experience and qualifications of their veterinary staff, the availability of specialized equipment or services, their approach to patient care, and their relationship with the local community. Based on the limited information, it's challenging to definitively highlight unique features. However, a long-standing presence in the community, as suggested by one reviewer mentioning ten years of prior experience with the practice, can sometimes indicate a level of established trust and familiarity with local pet owners.
To provide an objective introduction, it's important to consider the available customer feedback. The reviews for Enfield Animal Hospital present a mixed picture. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction, citing concerns about receiving medication that allegedly caused seizures in their dog, a perceived decline in the quality of care possibly due to a reduction in the number of vets, a lack of friendliness and welcoming atmosphere, and a feeling of being treated condescendingly. This reviewer explicitly stated they could not recommend the office for the best care and hoped for improvement in their attitude towards owners.
Conversely, another reviewer shared a positive experience, describing an easy appointment for a kitten check-up and stating they have consistently had great experiences with their other two cats at this hospital. This positive feedback suggests that some pet owners have found the care and service satisfactory. It's important to note that individual experiences can vary, and a single negative review should be considered alongside positive feedback and your own interactions with the clinic.

Apr 01, 2025 · alyssa bennettIt was an easy appointment. I was just bringing in my 8 week old kitten to be checked out. They were great as always! I have two other cats, and I've never had anything but a great experience here.
Feb 10, 2024 · Michelle Rypysc0 stars. Self serving vet focused on income and profits. Rude, impolite, and totally unpleasant experience. They also refused to fulfill a prescription that was still valid. Took my pet to another vet and I’ve had a much better and more honest experience. Can recommend New England Vet Center in Windsor, CT. Do yourselves a favor and take your pet to another vet if you don’t want to get robbed $$$ or have an insolent experience.
Jul 30, 2024 · Tiffany ButlerI had a really bad experience when I brought my cat into this clinic, it felt like they cared more about getting paid than actually helping her. They didn’t start treatment until after I paid, which was frustrating. I also got the vibe that they thought I couldn’t afford the service, which was super unprofessional. There was zero sympathy for my cat or me, and I’m honestly upset and disappointed by the whole experience. I’m wondering where all the good reviews come from because what I went through was far from it.
Aug 25, 2024 · Ngoc BachDr Lisa always takes good care of our two cavalier king Charles spaniels. We have been seeing her for 15 years. She is gentle and thorough and listens well to your concerns. The staff is friendly and helpful.
