I've been bringing my cats here for two years since I moved to the area. Initially I first came here as they had the best price to neuter a stray that had moved onto my porch. However based on my previous experiences with other vets I decided to continue using the services of Emerson animal hospital because the staffs friendly disposition, wonderful demeanor, and feedback from other patients I met there. I brought my 10-year-old tuxedo cat in for a teeth cleaning and when they gave him back to me they informed me that his glands had been backed up and needed to be expressed which they did at no extra cost since he was already under anesthesia for the teeth cleaning. I had no idea this was a thing, but after all of this my 10 year old cat was acting 5 years younger. I'd highly recommend Dr Lofaro to any fur parents reading this.

Emerson Animal Hospital offers a range of essential veterinary services to cater to the diverse needs of your pets. One particularly positive experience involved a 10-year-old cat undergoing a teeth cleaning procedure. During this process, the attentive veterinary team identified and addressed a related health issue – backed-up glands – and expressed them at no extra cost to the owner since the cat was already under anesthesia. This proactive and considerate approach demonstrates a commitment to thorough care and a willingness to go the extra mile for their patients' well-being. The remarkable outcome of this seemingly minor additional service, with the cat acting "5 years younger" afterward, underscores the comprehensive and beneficial care provided at Emerson Animal Hospital.

Her calm demeanor and ability to build trust are highlighted as key factors in making even stressful veterinary visits comfortable for these very different dogs. This ability to handle pets with patience and genuine care, especially those with behavioral challenges, is a significant asset of Emerson Animal Hospital.

The dedication of the staff to providing personalized care is another noteworthy feature. Dr. Korsgen's approach of reading body language and understanding individual personalities exemplifies a commitment to treating each animal as an individual with unique needs and temperaments. This tailored approach can make a significant difference in a pet's comfort level during veterinary examinations and procedures, ultimately leading to a more positive experience for both the pet and the owner. The willingness to address additional health concerns, like the backed-up glands during the teeth cleaning, without incurring extra charges, further demonstrates a patient-centered approach where the animal's well-being is prioritized.

Dr. Cory Korsgen has been incredible with both of my dogs. Her genuine passion for animals really shines through in the way she interacts with them, and it’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back. She’s amazing at reading their body language and understands their individual personalities, which allows her to tailor each visit to their unique needs. I have a cocker spaniel who is anxious and a german shepherd that's more rambunctious, and she handles both of them with patience and care. Thanks to her calm demeanor and ability to build trust, my dogs feel comfortable with her, even in stressful situations. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a vet who truly understands and loves animals!

I can’t put into words how much I appreciate Dr. Tony Lofaro, his team and the girls at the front desk. My dog is extremely anxious and not only are they loving and kind, but they are so patient. Dr. Lofaro doesn’t push him and he allows him to take baby steps, and that is so hard to find. I know we are in good hands and Guinness says thank you! ❤️

Dr. Esposito and Dr. Lafaro are wonderful, caring, compassionate doctors. I can’t say enough how they have helped our Lab and Bernese mountain dog over the years. From wellness visits to emergency treatments. They fit us into the schedule for more serious conditions, and calm us just as much as our pets. Great doctors and even better people. We could never think to go to any other clinic. Thank you to them and their staff!!

I took my newly adopted cat to Emerson Animal Hospital for an exam. It was our first visit with Dr. Tony Lofaro. He discovered a couple of health issues and was gentle, kind and comforting as he attended to her. He is a fine addition to the staff at Emerson and I look forward to future visits with this wonderful, caring doctor.
