my family had a female goat that was pregnant, and was having trouble delivering. so we brought her to them for a c-section. they told us that the kids would not survive, but the female goat would very much survive, and that she’d be fine. a few days later the female goat died. my family then went back to the vet, and told them about how she died. and they didn’t express their sympathies, though they stated she would recover and be fine. a year later we gave this vet another chance. we had 3 baby goats that needed them to be disbudded (this means to “dehorn” them when they are young, which is completely normal to do). and only one of the baby goats done correctly. the other 2, their horns started to come in after a few days, one of the goats had very bad horns coming in. and we emailed them and they told us that someone would contact us, but no one ever did. we called them a couple times and they never responded back. i would NOT recommend them to be your vet for your animals.

When choosing a pet hospital, several factors come into play, including the environment, the range of services offered, unique features, and the overall reputation. While specific details about the hospital's environment, such as the layout of examination rooms, waiting areas, and surgical suites, are not explicitly available online, it is common for veterinary hospitals to strive for a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for both pets and their owners. A well-maintained facility helps to reduce stress for animals during their visit and ensures a hygienic setting for medical procedures.

Based on the information available, Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital provides a variety of veterinary services. One customer review mentions a complex procedure, a C-section on a pregnant goat, indicating that the hospital is equipped to handle surgical interventions. This suggests the presence of surgical facilities and the expertise of veterinary professionals capable of performing such procedures. Another service mentioned is disbudding of baby goats, a common procedure in livestock care, implying that the hospital caters to a range of animals beyond just typical household pets like cats and dogs.

The positive review highlights the experience of a family who has been using Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital for years. They specifically commend Dr. Hoft and the veterinary technicians for their wonderful care of their cats. The review emphasizes the staff's compassion, willingness to assist with specialist referrals, and their dedication to providing comprehensive care over many years, exceeding the client's expectations. This positive feedback suggests a commitment to building long-term relationships with pet owners and providing personalized attention to their animals.

However, it is important to consider all available feedback to form a balanced perspective. Another customer shared a negative experience involving the delivery complications of their pregnant goat. According to the review, despite being told the mother goat would survive, she unfortunately passed away a few days later. The reviewer also expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of sympathy shown by the veterinary staff upon learning of the goat's death. Additionally, the same customer reported issues with a subsequent disbudding procedure on three baby goats, where only one was done correctly, and the remaining two developed horns later. The reviewer also mentioned a lack of follow-up communication from the hospital regarding this issue.

Considering these contrasting reviews, it appears that while some clients have had positive experiences with Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital, particularly concerning the care of cats and the staff's compassion, others have encountered significant issues, especially concerning more complex or livestock-related cases, as well as post-procedure care and communication. It is crucial for pet owners to weigh these different perspectives when making decisions about their pet's healthcare.

Features of Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital, while not explicitly detailed, can be inferred from the services mentioned and the customer feedback. The ability to perform surgical procedures like C-sections suggests the presence of a well-equipped operating room and skilled surgeons. The provision of disbudding services indicates experience with livestock and related procedures. The positive review points to a feature of compassionate and helpful staff, willing to go the extra mile for their clients, including assisting with specialist referrals and routine check-ups. This suggests a focus on comprehensive care and a willingness to work collaboratively with pet owners to ensure the best possible outcomes for their animals.

Promotional information is not available in the provided text. Typically, pet hospitals might promote services such as wellness packages, vaccination clinics, dental care specials, or discounts for new clients. To learn about any current promotions or special offers at Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital, it would be best to contact them directly via phone or visit their physical location.

In conclusion, Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital in Estacada, Oregon, is a pet hospital that appears to offer a range of veterinary services, including surgical procedures and livestock care. Customer reviews present a mixed picture, with some praising the compassionate and comprehensive care, particularly for cats, while others report negative experiences related to specific procedures, post-operative care, and communication. Potential clients are encouraged to consider all available information and perhaps contact the hospital directly to discuss their specific needs and concerns before making a decision about their pet's veterinary care.

This is my first experience with Eagle Fern and it's been great so far! We got Blue as a rescue, I started calling vets to get her checked out asap and Eagle Fern got her in within a few days. They're nothing but sweet to her and made lots of helpful recommendations.
