To be honest, the visit was fine. We didn’t need to wait and the desk staff is friendly. However, I still don’t like that they take the dogs into a back room for certain things. The bill for two well visits was over a $1000.00. I told the girl we don’t board our dogs and somehow we still got Bordetella vaccinations. Then they call us the next day and said they made a mistake and we owed them more money. So my husband went to the office that day and paid another $88.00. When I got home from work and looked at everything I notice they over charged us for $17.00. So be very careful with this group. They will try and give you every vaccine even if you don’t need it. We were told they would forward our concerns to management but we never heard from anyone. We will not be returning.

Welcome to Dublin Veterinary Hospital
Welcome to Dublin Veterinary Hospital, a Pet Hospital located at 391 W Dublin Pike in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Serving the local community, Dublin Veterinary Hospital aims to provide veterinary care for your animal companions. As a Pet Hospital, they offer a range of services to address the health needs of your pets. It's important for local users to have a comprehensive understanding of what to expect, based on available feedback.
Based on the limited reviews available, insights into the environment and services can be gleaned. One reviewer noted that the visit was "fine," indicating a potentially adequate and functional environment. They also mentioned that there was no waiting time and that the desk staff was friendly, suggesting a positive initial interaction with the administrative team. However, this same reviewer expressed a concern regarding the practice of taking dogs into a back room for certain procedures, which may be a point of consideration for pet owners who prefer to be present with their animals at all times.
In contrast, another reviewer shared a significantly positive experience, highlighting Dublin Veterinary Hospital as an "absolute life savior" for their "very troubled dog" when it comes to vet work. They specifically praised the "team work and the patience" shown by the staff, indicating a supportive and understanding approach towards animals with behavioral challenges during veterinary examinations and procedures. This suggests that Dublin Veterinary Hospital may be particularly adept at handling pets who are anxious or difficult during veterinary visits.
Regarding the services offered, the first review provides some specific information, albeit in the context of a negative billing experience. The mention of "two well visits" indicates that Dublin Veterinary Hospital offers routine wellness examinations, a fundamental service of any Pet Hospital aimed at preventive care and early detection of health issues. The fact that Bordetella vaccinations were administered, even though the client stated they do not board their dogs, suggests that vaccinations are part of their service offerings. However, this instance also raises concerns about the thoroughness of communication and the tailoring of services to the specific needs of the pet.
The first review also details a significant issue with billing practices. The initial bill for the two well visits exceeded $1000.00, which the reviewer perceived as high. Subsequently, the clinic contacted them the next day stating a mistake and requesting an additional $88.00. Upon further review of the charges at home, the client identified an additional overcharge of $17.00. This experience highlights the importance for pet owners to carefully review their bills and ensure accuracy. The reviewer's statement that they felt the clinic would "try and give you every vaccine even if you don’t need it" is a serious concern regarding the potential for unnecessary services and inflated costs.
The fact that the client reported their concerns to the staff and were told they would be forwarded to management, yet they "never heard from anyone," suggests potential issues with customer service follow-up and the handling of complaints. This lack of response contributed to their decision not to return to Dublin Veterinary Hospital.
In summary, based on these two contrasting reviews, Dublin Veterinary Hospital appears to have friendly desk staff and a team that demonstrates patience and effective teamwork when dealing with challenging animal patients. This could be a significant benefit for pet owners with anxious or difficult-to-handle pets. However, the negative review raises serious concerns regarding billing accuracy, the potential for unnecessary services, and the lack of follow-up on customer complaints. The high cost of routine well visits reported by one client may also be a factor for local users to consider.
As with any service provider, experiences can vary. The positive review suggests that some pet owners have had positive experiences with the care provided, particularly concerning the handling of difficult animals. The negative review, however, presents significant issues that potential clients should be aware of and consider when making decisions about their pet's veterinary care.
Given the limited and conflicting nature of the available reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment and all services offered at Dublin Veterinary Hospital. Typically, a Pet Hospital would offer a broader range of services, including:
- General wellness examinations
- Vaccinations (though the administration in this case was questioned)
- Parasite prevention
- Diagnostic services (e.g., blood work, imaging)
- Treatment of illnesses and injuries
- Surgical procedures
- Dental care
However, the provided information does not confirm the full scope of these services at Dublin Veterinary Hospital.
Regarding features, the patience and teamwork mentioned in handling a troubled dog could be considered a significant positive feature for owners of such pets. On the other hand, the billing practices and lack of follow-up reported in the negative review would be a significant negative feature.
No promotional information is available in the provided data. Local users interested in learning more about Dublin Veterinary Hospital, their complete range of services, their environment, and their current practices are encouraged to contact them directly at (215) 249-9800 or +1 215-249-9800. Visiting their location at 391 W Dublin Pike, Perkasie, PA 18944, may also provide further insight. However, it would be prudent for potential clients to inquire specifically about their billing procedures, vaccination protocols, and how they address client concerns based on the issues raised in the available review.
In conclusion, Dublin Veterinary Hospital in Perkasie, PA, appears to have a team that can effectively and patiently handle animals with behavioral challenges during veterinary care. However, potential clients should be aware of the significant concerns raised in one review regarding high costs, questionable billing practices, the administration of potentially unnecessary vaccinations, and a lack of follow-up on customer complaints. Local users should weigh these contrasting perspectives when considering Dublin Veterinary Hospital for their pet's healthcare needs and are advised to seek further clarification on their practices directly from the clinic.

Mar 22, 2025 · Amy WelshI have a very troubled dog when it comes to vet work. This office has been an absolute life savior for him. The team work and the patience with him is really appreciated.
Mar 20, 2025 · Kaitlyn AlegriaWonderful place and wonderful staff! I didn’t bring payment to the appt since someone else took my dog for me and they were so accommodating! I called back to pay over the phone and they raved about how sweet my dog was. They truly cared about me and my animal. Great place with Saturday hours!
Jan 26, 2025 · Jessica KalishThey are not very good at returning phone calls or massages. They aren’t up front with costs associated with visits, even when you ask for a price for treatments, you don’t get an honest answer. I have had a sick dog for 3 days now and they won’t return my calls.
Feb 15, 2025 · Brendan FeeMy boyfriend and I had to take my snake Palo to them in an emergency. They took us in quickly and treated us with the most care. Y'all made his final moments the best. Thank you for being wonderful even after his passing to the both of us. We plan on bringing our cat as well since they are so caring.
