Although I don't know anything about computers, why my reviews disappear is beyond my knowledge. But I know I had said a while back that Dr Robb was just another reason that gave me more information about how I should and should not be vaccinating with our meaningful best friends and companion animals, in my case, a female Golden Retrievers now at 12 years old, she's doing pretty darn good despite her possible arthritis especially with her knees rear legs, has difficulty and pain as I decline veterinary anti inflammatory drugs from our veterinarian, but eventually I might have to give in to it. Dr John Robbs I wished we had a veterinarian like you I know Dr Robb had always been a strong advocate against over vaccinating with our dogs as his videos that isn't where I had seen it had expired for some reason. After watching a video in a courtroom with a judge, he is amazingly very intelligent. Thanks for everything having to do with veterinary care that had helped me to make better decisions with Brandy! Dr. Robb's Protect The Pets Introduce

Welcome to Dr. Robb's Protect The Pets, a veterinary care provider located at 98 S Main St, Newtown, CT 06470, USA. This clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for your beloved animal companions. As a "Pet Hospital" within the platform category, Dr. Robb's Protect The Pets offers a range of services designed to ensure the health and well-being of dogs, cats, and other pets.

While specific details about the clinic's physical environment are best experienced firsthand, the emphasis on personalized care suggests a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for both pets and their owners. The address, 98 S Main St, Newtown, CT, places it conveniently for local residents seeking attentive veterinary services.

The core of Dr. Robb's Protect The Pets lies in its service philosophy, which is notably shaped by Dr. John Robb's extensive knowledge and unique approach to veterinary medicine. One of the distinguishing features of this practice, as highlighted by client testimonials, is Dr. Robb's strong advocacy for responsible vaccination protocols. Unlike clinics that might adhere to a rigid vaccination schedule, Dr. Robb is known for his intelligent and informed stance against what he considers "over vaccinating." This approach suggests a focus on individualized care, where vaccination decisions are made with careful consideration of each animal's specific needs, health status, and lifestyle. This philosophy aims to minimize potential risks associated with unnecessary vaccinations while ensuring pets are adequately protected against diseases.

Beyond vaccinations, Dr. Robb's Protect The Pets provides general veterinary services that one would expect from a dedicated pet hospital. These likely include routine check-ups, diagnostic services, preventative care, and management of various pet health conditions. While specific details on advanced surgical procedures, emergency services, or specialized treatments are not explicitly provided, the comprehensive nature implied by a "Pet Hospital" category suggests a broad scope of care. The personal accounts from clients underscore a practice where veterinarians take the time to genuinely get to know both the pet and the owner, actively listening to concerns and thoroughly explaining options. This personalized approach fosters a strong sense of trust and partnership between the clinic and the pet owners, which is invaluable in long-term pet health management.

A key feature that emerges from client feedback is the compassionate and understanding nature of the care provided. One poignant review details the difficult journey of "lil Boom Boom, 'Kai'," a beloved pet who fought a hard battle before crossing the rainbow bridge at home. The fact that the clinic facilitated an at-home euthanasia speaks volumes about their commitment to providing comfort and support during the most challenging times for pet owners. This level of empathy and willingness to accommodate sensitive situations sets Dr. Robb's Protect The Pets apart, demonstrating a profound understanding of the human-animal bond.

Dr. Robb's intelligence and dedication to continuous learning are also frequently mentioned. One client notes having seen Dr. Robb in a courtroom setting, emphasizing his intellectual prowess and ability to articulate complex veterinary concepts. This commitment to staying informed and advocating for best practices in veterinary care directly benefits the pets under his supervision, as owners can be confident that they are receiving well-reasoned and evidence-based advice. For pet owners like Gary, who struggled with decisions regarding his 12-year-old Golden Retriever, Brandy, and her arthritis, Dr. Robb provided invaluable insights that helped him make better-informed choices about her care, including cautious approaches to anti-inflammatory drugs.

Promotional information, while not directly specified as "promotional" in the provided text, can be inferred from the positive testimonials. The strong recommendations from coworkers and the consistent praise for Dr. Robb's attentiveness and passion serve as powerful endorsements. The clinic's phone number, (203) 690-2866, and mobile phone, +1 203-690-2866, are readily available for scheduling appointments or inquiries. These points suggest that the clinic's primary promotion comes from word-of-mouth referrals and the demonstrable quality of care they provide. Their focus on client education and personalized plans, particularly concerning vaccinations, could also be a key differentiator that attracts owners seeking a more tailored and considered approach to their pet's health.

In summary, Dr. Robb's Protect The Pets in Newtown, CT, offers more than just standard veterinary services. It provides a unique blend of informed medical practice, particularly regarding vaccination philosophies, coupled with profound empathy and personalized attention. The clinic stands out for its commitment to educating pet owners, listening actively, and supporting families through all stages of their pet's life, from routine care to difficult end-of-life decisions. For local pet owners seeking a veterinarian who is not only knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate and thoughtful in their approach to animal health, Dr. Robb's Protect The Pets presents itself as a highly recommended option.

Dr Robb had been recommended to me by my coworkers and we have been very happy with his care! He takes his time to get to know you and listen. He is passionate about what he does and it shows. *Update* Breaks my heart to share that lil Boom Boom, "Kai" crossed over the rainbow bridge a couple of years ago. He fought a hard battle, was loved by myself and his purrmommy but in the end, his little heart could not handle the battle. He was put to rest at home and will forever be remembered for his strength he had in his short life.

We are so grateful for the care our dog received from Dr. Robb and all the staff last week. Our dog was so sick and thankfully we were able to set up an appointment with Dr. Robb after finding out our regular vet didn't have any openings. You could tell right away that Dr. Robb was very knowledgeable, experienced, and compassionate. He offered us options for our dog's care and we were able to decide the best course of care based on our financial situation. Our dog ended up needing to stay a few nights in his vet hospital under critical care with IV fluids and medications. Dr. Robb called me every day to provide updates. I picked our dog up when she was stable and ready to be discharged and she seemed so much better. She was playing again out in the yard when we returned home!

My cat Minie and I had an amazing experience with Dr. Robb. My cat had a nasty ear infection, and Dr. Robb was able to see him the same day! He showed such compassion and kindness. He also explained all the treatment options and diagnoses. He made sure my cat felt comfortable throughout the whole process. Thank you so much Dr. Robb, I appreciate!

My healthy two year old cat stopped eating suddenly. I contacted my regular VCA affiliated vet who said they couldn’t fit him in. I brought him to a VCA emergency hospital who wanted to give him an ultrasound for $2000. They were no help at all, and couldn’t even offer any suggestions. I took my cat back, paid the insane visit charge and left. Dr Robb was recommended to me by an acquaintance. Even though it was three o’clock in the afternoon, I was told to bring him in. Dr Robb was personable and professional. He gave my boy an x ray and provided a simple treatment plan to get him back on track, for a reasonable fee. Two days later, he got his appetite back. Thanks to Dr Robb and his staff for taking the time to ease what was a stressful day. I will be back when he needs his annual wellness check.
