Deep Roots Animal Clinic

I wanted to make sure I posted about my recent 1st and truly kind experience my family and I had at Deep Roots. One of our dogs had been on a very fast decline for about two months, we knew her time was coming soon but not when. That time arrived a few days after Christmas, early in the morning. I rushed her to our usual vet and they were unable to help until much later that day. We knew she was suffering and couldn't wait. I know Deep Roots from my work and reached out to them. They were able to see me within 30min. The room was ready, the staff was so kind and softspoken, Dr. Guzmán was so kind and they helped our girl pass peacefully and painlessly. I will be forever grateful to staff for being there for us that day and feeling the loss with us as if she had been a patient with them her whole life. Thank you to everyone there. You were our support on one of the hardest days.

My cat is an absolute monster and it’s always been impossible to go to any vet that doesn’t treat us both like garbage because of it. Deep Roots is the opposite, they care so much and they’re so infinitely patient, and they know how to handle spicy animals. Best vet I’ve ever been to BY FAR and we’ve tried a lot!!

A while ago, I had to rush my dog to Deep Roots after he was attacked. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly professional, considerate, and informative. They explained everything clearly and were so gentle with my dog, despite his injuries. After evaluation Dr. Guzman was able to offer multiple options, which required care at more specialized facilities. When pressed about the costs of these options Guzman provided fairly accurate estimations based on my follow up. Though he did caution that he wasn't too familiar with the costs associated with the procedures. Sadly, my dog's injuries were too severe and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him down. Dr. Bernard and the staff were incredibly kind and empathetic throughout this devastating process, and they handled everything with such compassion and respect. They offered condolences and support to me and my family during this difficult time, and even gave us multiple locks of my dog's hair to keep and let us take as much time saying goodbye as we needed. A few days later, I received a card signed by the entire staff offering their condolences. This small gesture meant the world to my family and showed how much they care about their patients and families. On top of the excellent care and support, pragmatically I was surprised at how reasonable their prices were. Losing a pet is hard enough, and it was a relief not to have the added stress of a huge bill. I can't recommend Deep Roots Animal Clinic highly enough. They truly care about animals and their people, and I'm so grateful for their support during such a difficult time.

I cannot express enough how incredibly grateful I am for the care my puppy received at Deep Roots. Dr. Guzman and Dr. Bernard are not just veterinarians, they are true healers with a deep compassion for animals. My puppy was very very sick and I called around to a few vets for help because ours was unavailable and was quickly scheduled (within the hour) for an exam, I was overwhelmed with worry and fear, but from the moment we walked into the clinic, I knew God had led us here. After 2 days of hospitalization the Dr.’s made educated assessments and diagnosed my girl with pancreatitis. Dr. Guzman took the time to listen to me and was very empathetic about my situation. He came up with a treatment plan that we could agree on and I felt truly taken care of. He was great about answering every single one of my questions with patience and understanding. I never felt rushed or like I was just another patient. Dr. Bernard, too, was an absolute blessing. Her calm and thoughtful approach made all the difference in helping me feel confident in my puppy's care. The level of attention and detail they both provided was outstanding. Their genuine concern for my puppy’s well-being went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. They made sure to involve me in every step of the process, which gave me so much peace of mind during a very stressful time. (Even though my emotional state was probably so annoying. Lol.) The support staff and techs at Deep Roots are equally amazing—every interaction, from scheduling to follow-up calls, was professional and filled with empathy. They truly treat both pets and their owners with such respect. They made my anxious dog and I feel so comfortable, especially Dia. Thanks to the incredible care from Dr. Guzman, Dr. Bernard, and the entire team, my puppy is on the road to recovery and doing so much better. I feel so fortunate to have found a vet clinic that is not only skilled and knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate. I wouldn't trust my pet’s health with anyone else. Deep Roots is a truly special place, and I’m beyond thankful for everything they’ve done for us! We plan to transfer our other pets care to Deep Roots because of our experience. Highly recommend—five stars all the way!

great service here and 1 of few vets in the area who service exotics. I called 4 vets before landing on Deep Roots. Our bun had a cold and Dr. Benard helped me out. Always gives us plenty of options. We take Riley and Cannoli here for their nail trims and always so welcoming. The 2 buns don't mind being handled by the staff and would rather a prof trim their nails than me plus their nails are so dark, hard to see the quick. On this visit, Riley got a liquid oral antibiotic and eye gel. He is doing great! Thanks DRAC!
